"My partner and I booked this property however when we arrived at 7pm, there was a large gate blocking the entrance and no one was there. We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. "Amazing house, more space than we could even use, the host team was great, and the home cooked dinners and breakfasts (arranged with Yadi, the amazing woman who lives in a separate home on the property) were the best food we had in CR. The place was spotless, perfect, and a very easy ten minute drive to everything in Fortuna. Loves it. "

"My family of 7 stayed here for a couple of days & we all loved it!!! It's a beautiful home & the views were amazing!! We even had a sloth in the tree not far from the patio. All the bedrooms had AC the beds & pillows were comfortable so we slept really well. The pool room was a big hit with the kids!! The communication with the host was great so we highly recommend the property."

"Great stay at this wonderful accommodation property in La Fortuna. Days when it was raining or when clouds were over the Arenal Volcano, it was great to just sit on the back terrace and just observe all of the wildlife that come by. There is also a restaurant nearby (cost on the higher end, but worth it) for when you don't feel like driving into town. All three bedrooms were comfortable enough and did the trick for a few nights' stay!"

"The owner was very responsive and helpful. He gave us advice on restaurants things to do in the area and how to get places. Everything he recommended was the best and spot on. It was a very authentic and comfortable house with everything you’d need. There were 3 twin beds, one queen and a couch that made to a twin so plenty of room for 6. "This place is exotic! 6 of us stayed here with plenty of space. The first day some of our group was ill and so we stayed in most of the day. It still felt like an exotic vacation.
