"We loved our four-night stay at B&B Al Carotin. Julio is super friendly and always at hand. The property has balconies overlooking the valley and mountains, and it was so relaxing just to sit out on the balcony, drink in the views, and let your shoulders drop. We took a day trip to Tirano and took the train up to Switzerland, which is the same line as the Bernina Express. We had a couple of very enjoyable days by the lake. We'd love to come back."

It is actually located in Vezio right outside of Varenna. At first, I was concerned about the location from Varenna. However, Rita the proprietor made sure we had transportation from the train station as well as to and from all of our points of interest. We seriously wanted for nothing. "Great vibe, and great value! It is in front of the lake. I had an adventure before I arrive there as was late storms and no transport. But managed it. It is clean. Plenty of toilets and showers. The guy at the reception was really good even offered to pick me up when he had to finish his shift. Also he offered me a slice of his pizza as I could not find anywhere with my adventures. Defently recommend it."
