  • Beautiful new 1 bedroom cabin. Covered porches on front and back. Sleeps 4 (queen bed and pullout sofa). Conveniently located 10 minutes from Pilot Mtn State Park, 20 Minutes from Hanging Rock State Park, 20 Minutes from Dan River, 20 minutes from Mt. Airy (Mayberry), 25 minutes to Winston-Salem. Great location for accessing both Hanging Rock and Pilot Mountain state parks. Kitchen is well stocked with things you need for cooking your own meals. Outdoor hangout spots include a front porch with rockers and glide bench, back deck with grill and table and a side patio with a firepit! Very clean, well kept!

This was a great getaway. The cabin was indeed cozy and conveniently located in between the two State Parks - Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock. For such a small space it had everything needed for our stay. Loved it and would definitely come back again.

This cabin is conveniently located between Hanging Rock State Park and Pilot Mountain State Park. Easy commute to both provided plenty of time to explore.

We enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was very clean and cozy. We had everything we needed it and 10 min from hanging rock(a park worth visiting) and near King city. We loved eating at Mackintire restaurant. We’ll recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you for making this a very nice experience.

A Great Little Cabin!

This was our third stay in the Lakota Rock Cabin. It’s very clean, it has very thing you need for cooking in, and it’s in a great location for hiking in the nearby state parks, and exploring nearby towns and communities. It’s also close to numerous wineries. We will definitely stay here again.

Hosts have outdone themselves in creating a cabin that’s as well appointed and new as it is cozy. Everything I wanted to visit was within a half-hour drive (Pilot Mtn, Winston-Salem, Hanging Rock), would 100% stay here again!

Wonderful getaway !

Our family enjoyed this lovely little cabin in the woods. Very cozy and relaxing! And the communication with Harlie , the property owner , was the best ever ! Highly recommend:-)
