"This property may have been okay for an overnight or maybe two but lacked a lot of the necessities needed for period of time. Shower was a challenge. Unable to communicate with the host do to a country cell phone difference. No WiFi, etc…"

"We had a wonderful stay at Kitty’s cottage. The cottage is so homely and feels really welcoming. It’s lovely and warm, even when the weather outside was freezing. It was super clean and very well equipped. We loved walking on the beach, which is only moments away, with such beautiful views. Driving over Galloway forest park, we stopped to feed the goats and deer, which was wonderful. You need to take your own carrots or other fruit / veg to feed them. Galloway forest is also a dark skies...

"The cottage was well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was everything you could possibly wish for. The cottage is conveniently situated for shops, restaurants, bars and the sea front and provides a good base for touring South Ayrshire."

"We really enjoyed our stay. Apartment had all we needed. It was really spacious and beds were extremely comfortable. Showers were fantastic. Security was second to none as Donald Trump was staying next door the weekend we stayed! Was fun to watch his motorcade go by the end of the road. Even had drones flying over and reporters doing live broadcasts on the lawn on the front of the development. Will definitely be back but don’t think Donald will be here next time."

"The property was very relaxing and our stay was enjoyable.
Unfortunatatly the property was looking rate tired.
The cooker was difficult to use and when it did work was not very effective.
The freezer needed defrosting
We could not use the dish waste as the washer tablet compartment would not stay closed.
With a little TLC with property would be excelent"

"Although rurally located (this is Scotland) the cottages offer access within 45 mins to many differing attractions. We enjoyed the owners excellent advice on coastal trips, high hill ranges in national park, local walks with loch swims and secluded beaches. The local town of Newton Stewart is classical delightful. Highly recommend. Would’ve liked a separate shower or screen on bath and hot water controls good when mastered. Bed super comfy and fire pit fun. "
