"Very friendly staff, lovely food and clean comfortable rooms. The carpark is small and can hold 4-5 cars at most and entry is via Station Street to the rear of the hotel. Loads of history on the wall of the pub and nothing too much trouble for the hosts. Would definitely stay there again."

"St Ives is a nice place, it still has a tradition, no chain, department store for goodness sake. The Golden Lion is a good base to explore from. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The bar and restaurant is nicely laid out and decorated. Breakfast was excellent. All in all, really nice. Would I stay again? Yes, most definitely."
