"My husband were here for a two night stay and we have stayed here previously. We really like the location and the easy walk into town. It's close to a fun outdoor tiki bar, several restaurants, and many cute shops with lots of things by local artists. Our large room was very, very clean and comfortable. "Our family vacation was the week of the annual pony swim. Despite the fact that the hotel was extremely busy, the 100th anniversary swim, the staff was more than accommodating. They were extremely helpful and kind and polite. They went above and beyond. We even got a phone call about a half hour after check-in to make sure we settled in ok and if we needed anything! "We had a wonderful stay at The Chincoteague Inn for the 100th Annual Pony Swim! The renovated rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff was great. The location works well, especially since the Pony Express Trolley stops right out front. We were also able to walk back from the Carnival Grounds in the evening with a stop at the Island Creamery (a must) which is right around the corner from the Inn.
