Welcome to The Ridge Ranch LLC, a 10 acre Glampground & Event Venue located adjacent to the 2,106 acre Huckleberry Ridge Conservation Area, located 3 miles from where Little Sugar & Big Sugar Creek converge to form Elk River.

We have 3 vacation rentals & a small Glampground with 4 RV sites including 30/50 amp electric/water service, dump station and access to our 6 person luxury hot tub. With plenty of room for horses, tent or hammock campers your whole group will have a safe space to explore all the trails and raw wilderness The Huckleberry Ridge Conservation Area has to offer!

This rustic 12x30 cabin is intended to be used by individuals or couples wanting to escape to nature and enjoy the use of our 6 person luxury hot tub. It offers a kitchenette and covered front deck for enjoying the gorgeous sunsets. Are you planning to elope or want to have a micro wedding? Check out our new stage facing the sunset…We have room to sleep eight people in the house, two people in the other cabin, two people in this cabin and eight people in four RV sites. At this time children are not allowed, up to 2 small dogs are allowed for a $30 per pet fee.

$30 Pet fee must be paid for each pet up to two small dogs is due before arrival. Failure do disclose pets is $100 fine per animal.
All dogs must be on a leash at all times during your stay and MUST be in a crate if you leave them unattended. No dogs on bed or furniture.

The cabin was clean and had all of the basics we needed to stow away for the weekend. The property was easy to find and the host was a good communicator. Shower pressure was good, bed was comfortable, and hot tub was hot and clean! We brought our dog and there was plenty of space to run around and sniff. We had no issues and would stay here again!

The cabin was everything that we needed. We were in search of relaxation, peace, and calm from the storm(s) of life. This cabin gave us that and so much more. My sweetheart and I were able to reconnect and connect in new, unimaginable ways, paving the way for a fresher and stronger relationship. the cabin was as described, really quite and private property. we arrived and were thrilled. the host messaged me saying she was laid back and lived on the property but was working at the time so we were welcomed to check in at our convenience. everything was great until the host showed up unannounced and started mowing just as we were going to grill our lunch. she proceeded to argue with us about our additional guest claiming her “liability doesnt cover guest.” when we tried to offer solutions and explain we were having family time she was extremely rude and uninterested in finding solutions. we were extremely disappointed as everything about the location and cabin was perfect for a day get away but had to abruptly pack up and leave due to hostile host. there was nothing on the listing about maximum occupancy and claims events were allowed. if you want no privacy and a hostile host that will argue semantics, perfect place. otherwise, dont waste your money and peace!

If you’re looking for the perfect place to escape reality (and your laundry pile), the Little Sugar Shack is it. This cozy cabin was the couple’s getaway we didn’t know we desperately needed until we walked in and saw mushroom-print sheets that instantly cured my anxiety.Clean? Spotless. Cozy? Like being wrapped in a flannel hug. Romantic? Let’s just say the bed was so comfy we actually considered never leaving it.Everything about this place says, “relax, reconnect, and pretend you’re woodland creatures who pay no bills.” 10/10 recommend for anyone who needs a break from life, work, or just wants to live in a Pinterest board for a weekend.We’re already planning our next trip back. Might even buy matching mushroom pajamas to really commit.

This little cabin was just right for the two of us. We were traveling during the day and staying at the cabin at night. The sunsets were beautiful. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. Frustrating!!

The yard and area were definitely not as plush and nice as pictured. It said small dogs welcome (which is why we chose it), but nowhere in the description or listing did it mention a pet fee. So when the owner emailed asking if we were bringing a dog, to let me know that there was a camp dog who was bigger but friendly. I replied “yes we are bringing our 4 month old small breed puppy. After that text exchange I got a Vrbo email telling me I owed a $30 pet fee. We were already an hour out so we had no choice but to pay it. There is very inadequate signage telling where to turn into to get to the cabin. The only check in info or instructions we got was that it was ready and the key was inside. When we finally got there we put our puppy down to pods and apparently other guests had dogs who proceeded to chase our puppy and scared her to death. Also, the listing said “adults only, no one under 21 allowed; but there were a couple of younger teenagers there hanging out. It was very disappointing after we got semi settled because we were hungry for dinner but there was no welcome note or book giving info on restaurants etc in the area or giving us the WiFi info to use, but the listing description said WiFi was available and the login would be provided beforehand, it was not, so it was difficult to get service to google for info. The listing also said Tv/satellite was available to the tv but it was only a RUKU box with the Ruku remote which HAD NO way to adjust the volume and there wa
