"The log home was a wonderful place to gather for Christmas with our family who came from MN, ND and AZ. Sue is an amazing host - so responsive and easy to work with. The kitchen was fully stocked and living rooms were set up great for our 3 granddaughters to play Barbies and show off dance moves. We had one campfire and the scenery was so beautiful. We will book again!! "

"Great modern vibe and the lake view was as pictured. It snowed one of the nights and I flet like we were in a snow globe. Nice amenities with friendly staff and owner. Looks like the beach area is nice with 2 large shared bonfire pits. Highly recommend!! I will be back."

"Border Point Lodge was the perfect fall (MEA break) getaway for our family of four (2 boys ages 2.5 & 7) another couple (55ish). Owners were super communicative but also “chill” if that makes sense. The pics online are exactly what you pull up to! Bistro string lights welcome you to a cozy main living space. However we arrived after the first snowfall & the driveway & steps were not cleared. You have to climb the steps to access the house & they were slippery. "We had an excellent weekend! We used the place for a family snowshoeing trip with adults and little kids! Talia was very responsive and great to work with. The lower level had in floor heat they weren’t wrong when it said it takes a while. It never got warm on its own, and thankfully we found the space heater. With little kids this was concerning. Otherwise the place was great and would recommend. "

"The first thing I noticed was the entrance. Dirty, peeling painted chairs and a huge pile of some metal pieces stacked up on the corner. Back and front entrances looked liked they hadn’t been swept all summer. Dead, overgrown weeds all around the house. Walked in and the musty smell was overbearing. Couldn’t open windows because they were painted shut. It is basically a demo house waiting to happen. I had to get a different place to stay. Don’t waste your money. "
