"It was a perfect little getaway weekend for two. Clean, comfortable beds in a cute, cozy cabin. We felt like we were in a tree house. Watched scrub jays in the treetops by day and bats under the starry night sky as the sun set from our vantage point in the jacuzzi. We didn't run into any hiccups at all. We were able to make the 3-point turn twice a day to park in our big Ford F150. A smaller car should have no trouble at all. We loved it. Wish we were still there!"

"Very pleased with this property overall. We left the Palm Desert to get out of the heat, mission accomplished! We noticed on the listing that the home was air conditioned and it die have 2 portable room air conditioners vented outside. It was extremely warm and a couple of box fans would have helped circulate the cool air. Other than that, we really enjoyed this property…highly recommend!"

"We stayed at this property to celebrate my husband‘s birthday over Labor Day weekend. The king size bed was the worst ever! Hard as a rock! We even brought our own mattress topper, and it was still terrible. If you want to get a good nights sleep, this is not the place to do it. It was dog friendly with a hot tub. However, there is a lot of deferred maintenance. The main deck was peeling and not safe for my dogs paws. I almost got a splinter on the handrail going down. Lots of cobwebs on the...

"We had a fabulous time in Idyllwild! The small-town vibe, the kindness of the locals, and the spectacular hikes did not disappoint. Our host, Heather, went above and beyond by upgrading us to a larger property because she thought the cabin we originally booked would be too tight for four people. We truly felt like VIPs in the main house. Everything was top-notch, beautifully kept, and felt incredibly homey. Check-in and check-out were completely seamless thanks to the keypad system. "La Petite was lovely, impeccably clean, and very tastefully decorated. The proximity to town is perfection. One note to those bringing a dog: the internal spiral staircase is narrow and could be treacherous from some dogs; our dog did not want to use it and even if she did, I wouldn't be comfortable with her using them to go downstairs. Fortunately, there is an outdoor staircase that leads to the bedroom/bathroom upstairs and that is what we used to take her upstairs at bedtime. It was...
