"I stay at Hilton hotels almost every time across the US and I don’t recall ever leaving a bad review. Check in staff not helpful at all. Room was newly renovated and clean, but the door lock didn’t work. Had to swipe the card 6 or 7 times for it to open every time. There are 2 small lights in the room. Very dark. "Great proximity to Poas Volcano! Beautiful view and cozy room. The bathtub did not get very hot, but probably just due to its large size. The property is very well-maintained and breakfast was delicious! Also helpful and friendly staff (including Coco, the large white fluffy dog). I wish we stayed longer!"

"They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!"
