Honest review, mixed thoughts and feelings and many of the other reviews say the same when checking.
Upon arriving we were told we would have to pay a deposit in cash or credit card that was not stated in any of the arrival information sent to us (I have checked). I can see it in the accomodation page itself but it's not easy to know and expect to be told upfront
We then were placed in a room which had dirty sheets and ants and insects all over the room, a used contact lens on the side of the room despite a "full clean" being completed.(We have photos). Upon raising this a person came to our room and began to sweep and spray insect repellent everywhere as we tried to sleep. We then asked to move room and was told we may be able to move the next day.
Mickey the manager the next day was very understanding and the experience changed. We were put in a better room and no longer had the issues so can tell you can have a mixed experience in this accomodation
The front desk person who dealt with us the first night Gaccu was extremely unhelpful and believe this is likely the reason for what we faced.
Worth noting this property is on a large hill and the shuttle they provide is not guaranteed despite us booking a slot, so not easy for everyone to get down to the beach
Overall the stay was good but not reflective of a 4 star hotel, breakfast was ok and you can see from some of the reviews others had similar experiences. The pool, view and amenities are nice
