Welcome to our home is Surprise AZ.

Our home has a 2 car garage, and a huge spacious large backyard, with a wonderful pool Not Heated plus outdoor sitting area and horseshoe pit.

It has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, sleeps 6 to 8 people. In the Master bedroom there is a King Bed with flat screen TV, the next bedroom has a Queen Bed with also a flat screen TV and the last bedroom has two Twin Beds. We also provide 2 twin air mattresses with bedding.

The Kitchen equipped with, fridge, stove, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, blender, cutlery, dishes, pots and pans, waffle iron, cookie sheet, toaster, knives, glasses.

The Living Room has a Flat Screen TV, Cozy Sofas, Entertainment Center, Blue-ray player, books magazines, games and DVD's.
We have a area setup for a work space - table and chair supplies with basic office supplies.


What To Do In Surprise: Located in northwest Phoenix, in one of the nation's fastest growing cities of Surprise Arizona. Just 45 minutes from downtown Phoenix the house is conveniently located near University of Phoenix Stadium home of the Arizona Cardinals and Jobing Arena in Glendale. South of our Surprise house is the Phoenix International Raceway home to the NASCAR races every April and November.
Our house is just minutes away from the Luke Air Force Base - please note that fighter jets my fly over house, Surprise Stadium (Spring Training Center for Kansas Royals and Texas Rangers) other Cactus League Arizona Spring Training facilities our house is near Camelback Ranch, Peoria Sports Complex and Goodyear Ballpark. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy being surrounded by Phoenix’s top-rated golf courses, miles of hiking & bike trails at White Tank Mountain Regional Park or Lake Pleasant Regional Park just minutes from our house.

Provided with your stay:
2 rolls toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towel, small starter liquid dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods - can be found under kitchen sink in basket, 4 laundry pods in cupboard above washer in jar, starter hand soap and 2 garbage bags.
If you need more of the items listed above or anything else during your stay, you must purchase yourself.

BBQ/Grill Provided but propane is the responsible of the guest. (It is not provided by the home owner)

Property was okay except the garage door was broken when we got there. The pool was dirty with palm fronds, pine cones etc. Also two plastic deck chairs were floating in the pool. The pool cleaner wasn’t scheduled until Thursday. This was Sunday. Cleaner didn’t come until Friday. There was no skimmer to clean up with. The second day we came back from an outing and there is a for sale sign in the yard. It’s apparent they are trying to get out from under this facility. We’ve used VRBO often. This was the most challenging stay.

Excellent Property

This property was very clean, comfortable and in a convenient location. Worked great for our party of 4 since the master bedroom and second queen bedroom are on opposite sides of the house. We enjoyed our stay here.

In Surprise for senior tennis tournament

We had a group of four that needed lodging for a 65+ tennis tournament—this home fit the bill. Very clean—great master bedroom with shower/bath. Convenient and in a quiet neighborhood. A relaxing place to stay—I’m sure it would be wonderful for baseball spring training as well!

FANTASTIC

My husband, daughter and I went up for a baby shower my brother-in-law was having. We came up early and made a birthday weekend out of it for my husband. We had an amazing time! The pool was cold, but we played on the step for hours with our 4-year-old. My brother-in-law came and spent the day, we had a BBQ and we only heard one jet, but it was the coolest thing and my baby loved it! Thank you so much for this stay we will def try to stay here again as we come to Suprise a couple times a year. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Nice and comfortable house in a Quiet neighborhood

We had great communication since the very first day when we asked for details about the house before booking, they were prompt on replying to all our questions, We really enjoyed our staying after coming from a busy week in vegas, we enjoyed the pool and loved the living room, the master bed was super comfortable we loved it!!, only thing we got a problem with was the wifi, it was a little slow, but overall was a great and clean house on a nice and quiet neighborhood, I do recommend this house to anyone.

uncomfortable couch

Sagging couch needs to be replaced. Never used the pool. Older people need a railing to use to get in and out of pool. We were not made aware of the nearby Air Force base and all the jet training noise. Especially at night. Other than that we were pleased with our stay. Very good location for spring training games.

Cozy home in Surprise

Spent three nights here while in the area for an event. The property was very accommodating to us - we had two couples and one infant. The two main bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house and they provided a pack-n-play for the little one. Great layout in the main living area for hanging around.

Overall great, just not well-stocked

The property listing was accurate. The house was clean and the owner communicated promptly. Check in was a breeze. We were hoping it would be warm enough to use the unheated pool but it was too cold despite temperatures in the 90s. We knew the pool was unheated so that wasn’t a surprise. The backyard was really nice after the landscapers came the second to last day. Before that, we thought the backyard was full of weeds but turns out it is a lawn! Our only issue was that the house wasn’t supplied well. The check in information told us that they provide “starter” toilet paper and paper towels but that we need to buy more. Based on that, we got some from the grocery store right away. However, after dinner that night, we found out after we had a full dishwasher that there weren’t any dishwasher pods! There was enough dishsoap for one day’s use. After messaging the owner, she told us there next day that the housekeeper said there was dishwasher soap under the sink. We had already checked there but i checked again. I had to take everything out and eventually found 1 random pod tossed under the sink. The owner offered to send the housekeeper over with some the next day, but we had already gone to the store that morning to buy dishsoap and dishwasher pods. Then later the 2nd day, we found there weren’t garbage can liners for the kitchen garbage can. We ran into a few more things like this. The kitchen isn’t stocked as well as most houses we’ve gotten through vrbo. For example, there were only 2 wine glasses and no salad bowl. She said it stated in the checkin instructions that we’d have to do this, but since it only stated paper towels and toilet paper, it was inconvenient to keep finding things we had to supply. I totally understand that some guests steal supplies, so maybe a list of things guests aren’t provided that are necessities would be useful.

Great location for spring training!

We came in for spring training. This property was comfortable and had all the necessities we needed! It was a bit cold to swim in the pool, even though the kids tried for a bit. Found an awesome coffee shop, Spencers, which was a couple mile walk (tons of walking trails in the neighborhood). The hosts were quick and receptive.

Very relaxing and excellent owners!

This is a great place for a vacation. We took in a couple of spring training games at Suprise stadium (only 3 minutes to there) and then did some sight seeing. Wonderful place for unwinding. The pool was too cold in March but would be great for relaxing in the summer. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Plenty of linens and towels. You can't go wrong with this property. Thanks!

Left some to be desired

Was a little underwhelmed with our stay. Had to make an additional run into town after arriving just to get basic items that were nowhere to be found: no shampoo or shower soap to use as listed in the description, ice maker and water in fridge not working, only one garbage bag to use for the duration of the stay, God awful toilet paper, owner wants you to start laundry when leaving, but did not provide any detergent. The house is ok, dirty carpets and ratty blinds that don't work. 2 of the 4 beds are similar to what you would find in a cheap motel. Overall it was an ok experience at best. With a little more care from the owners it could be a nice place to lay your head for a couple of days.

Great home, location and owner

Great layout and great location for us. There's a grocery store and restaurants just a few blocks away. The house had everything we needed and was close to family that lives in the area. A couple of questions popped up during the stay and the owner responded very quickly through the VRBO App.
