Downtown Gilbert Getaway - Sleeps 8

You’ll love our place because everything is brand-new and within a 10 minute walk to downtown Gilbert restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Also near San Tan Mall, movies theaters, Cactus Yards baseball fields, Freestone District Park, cities of Chandler, mesa and Tempe are 10 miles and Glendale is 60-90 minutes away.

The comfy beds are from Tuff and Needle and the home has an open floor plan. My place is good for couples, business travelers and families (with kids). The yard can be used for bar-b-ques, eating at the outside table, and kids playing.

Two cars can park in the 2 car driveway. The home, front and backyard are available to guest. Their is a basketball hoop that can be used in the 2 car driveway.

Gilbert Recreation center and park is 2 miles away. The gym has daily/weekly passes can be purchased. This Freestone Park district has playgrounds, train rides, carousel, skate park for scooters and skateboards.

Walking distances to Gilberts best and popular restaurants and entertainment and coffee shops.

Nice place, great location

My family and I stayed here over Christmas and enjoyed it. The house was clean, nicely remodeled and was just as expected. The Christmas tree was a pleasant surprise, and allowed us to have Christmas at the house. We would stay here again.

Perfect VRBO in Downtown Gilbert

If you are looking to stay at a place within walking distance to downtown Gilbert this is it! Amee and John were the perfect hosts! Great communication and very easy to work with. The house was very clean and spacious! Loved that it had a garage too because we had an electric vehicle, that we had to plug in. The home had lots of towels, blankets, and a fully stocked kitchen...you only needed to literally just bring food. It had it all. They also had a desk which was great since we both work from home. I highly recommend this vrbo to anyone that is looking to stay in downtown Gilbert. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect in every way

I wish I didn't have to give it 5 stars.. Because I'd like this home to be available to us anytime we are in the Phoenix area. First off the hosts, were absolutely amazing. They answered any and all questions we had prior and during our trip. They layout was even better than the photos provided.. and the cozy back yard was a great place to relax after those long days. The best part was the location, it was 20 mins from everywhere we needed to go In Any direction ... And a quick walk to the downtown core, which had a wonderful vibe, and even better food.. I recommend the Joe's real BBQ, Joyride taco house and of course for desert you got to hit up Topo for that prickly pear ice cream.. Absolutely we would and will stay here again!

Comfy!

Many times when you rent homes, furniture is worn out, saggy etc. That was not the case here. It was very comfortable nicely decorated and only a couple blocks from downtown. The owners were very responsive and nice. Truly enjoyed our stay!

If you’re gonna stay in Gilbert…this is the place!

We chose this place for its wonderful location for our 6 week stay and it didn’t disappoint! Just a short walk away from downtown Gilbert and all of its fabulous places to eat! Never had to worry about parking! Another favorite place to walk to was the Gilbert Farmer’s Market! The house had everything we needed and our hosts answered quickly to any of our questions.

Snowbird Sanctuary

We stayed two months on our first snowbird experience. House is just as described, everything you could need including fresh oranges from the tree every morning. Walking distance to Gilbert’s heritage restaurant district as well as Freestone Park. We also enjoyed the Freestone rec center. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds for ourselves and visitors. Amee and John are very responsive hosts for any questions we had. Wonderful stay, we will definitely be back.

The house was just as described! The convenience of being just a short walk to downtown Gilbert was amazing!!! The layout was person for my son who is special needs and wheelchair bound. Communication with John and Amee was top notch.

Quiet neighborhood

This is my second time staying here. We love the location and the house. It is super clean, the neighborhood is very quiet, and the home is well equipped with everything you need for cooking. We had a blast one night playing one of the games available to the guests.

I love this quaint little house right in the middle of downtown Gilbert it’s a great starting point to jaunt around the valley as well. Very clean and modern with all the conveniences you need. Such a Gilbert Gem!!!

Extremely clean house, great location!

I am a local and had recently sold my house and wouldn't be moved into my new one in time for visiting family to have a place to stay. I found this house right behind downtown Gilbert. It was myself and three other adults, along with our four children 2 years old and under. To start with, the house was the cleanest rental we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). You would not have known anyone had ever even been in the house before. They must have an amazing cleaning service. The location was great, about a half mile walk to get to downtown Gilbert. If you aren't from here, downtown Gilbert has a ton of great restaurants and bars, and a farmers market on Saturday morning. There is a playground less than a half of a block from the house that we frequented. The house was pretty much completely remodeled and the interior was either new or like new, very modern. The owners were very quick to respond and very helpful. Overall it was an excellent home for families and I would highly recommend it!
