"The property is well located behind a shopping mall and behind a museum in a quiet street. My husband uses a walker, and check-in and parking is convenient. Restaurant is good and staff is friendly. Unfortunately our advance request was not attended to and a dripping noise which appeared to come from water dripping on an eave, disturbed our sleep on the 2nd night. We had to call maintenance in the middle of the night but the problem could not be resolved. I am sure it would be remedied by...

"This is a great, economical option during the summer, as long as you know what to expect. Generally, there are very few people around. The walls are paper thin, though, if you do get a neighbour, and be warned that two rooms share a bathroom between (co-ed). I find the XL twin bed very comfortable but the pillow inadequate. WiFi is great. Many rooms have a view over the city to the water."

"We were welcomed as we arrived. The room was lovely but the best part of our stay was the delicious complimentary breakfast served each morning. What a thoughtful thing to do. The convenience of it was especially appreciated by seniors with mobility issues. "

"I lucked out during my stay since the roads around the Painted Turtle were closed due to construction. Arrive after 4:30pm and no noise! Oh and the industrial size fan in my shared room was the best surprise EVER!!! :)"

"It was fine for what we needed, a safe place to sleep, as we were out and about every day. Excellent free parking, owners very accomodating, providing extra coffee, shampoos, toilet paper etc when we asked. I loved having the seaview balcony to sit on with my coffee Pillows were too soft for me, otherwise bed was comfortable. Just a small average fairly priced motel, would probably stay again when Im in town"

"Had a little trouble with the check in getting the correct room, and the key to work with the room, but the staff was incredibly responsive and helpful in fixing the issue! They were great! That is not a complaint at all…quite the opposite, they were great!!"
