Heavenly Lakeside Retreat

This house was remodeled to provide a spacious layout to entertain family and friends in the incredibly welcoming resort town of East Jordan. Its location can't be beat, across the street from Lake Charlevoix provides yachting access from anywhere in the world. It's an inland lake of Lake Michigan. It is across the street from the public park with a beach, basketball courts, softball fields, tennis courts, boat launch, playground and a block from ice cream in the summer. It's conveniently located 8 miles from Boyne Mountain Ski resort in the winter. If has access to the Jordan Valley if you love snowmobiling, hiking, trout fishing, canoeing, kayaking or hunting. Turkey and deer hunting are premiere in this area and FREE on public land. This provides one of the BEST fishing and trout fishing areas in the world. The golf courses are like no others and you can find any type of course you like within an hour drive. Come and visit!! You won't be disappointed. If you're ready to get away from it all, this is the house for you.

We had the best family vacation at this lake side retreat. Our host was quick to respond to all of our questions. The house was clean and very well equipped with anything we needed. Location to beach was awesome. Can't say enough great things about our stay. Will comeback again!

Perfect Ski/Boarding Get Away

This is our second time visiting this home. We loved it the first time and felt the same way the second time. Comfortable beds, lots of space for our two families (9 people) to spread out and relax after full days skiing/boarding at Boyne Mountain Resort! Would love to find time to visit in the summer and utilize the amazing lake across the street!

Perfect lake house getaway

We had 3 adults and 7 kids for a 4 day stay, and we loved it. The location right across from the lake was perfect, along with the basketball court, baseball field, and playground. Definitely would come back and would recommend!

Great place for lake or ski vacation

We stayed in the property for a ski vacation to Boyne Mountain. The property is just a short drive, around 12 miles, took us about 15-20 minutes to drive. Very easy. The property is location in East Jordan, very cute small town with grocery store, restaurants and located on the lake. The house is located across the street from lake with a great view of the lake. The house was extremely clean. 2.5 baths. 2 bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs. We were able to sleep 9 people easily (4 adults and 5 teens). The kitchen had plenty of utensils for cooking. There were plenty of chairs to be comfortable at night. Overall great place to stay for skiing and I imagine it would be great for a lake vacation. Right across the street was a beach. We hope to come back in the summer someday and would use for skiing again. Great place and would have no hesitation to recommend to others.

Kid friendly & steps from the beach!

Spacious, climate-controlled house with a great kitchen, right across the street from a nice beach and playground on Lake Charlevoix! Host was super responsive to questions. No notes! We’d definitely love to come back!

LOVED

We flew into Traverse City and it wasn’t a long drive to the house. Loved the location being across from the lake - swimming, fishing, and walking around - wasn’t easy for the kids since it’s a busy road in front of the house but you have a ton of yard between the house and road. The backyard is nice and spacious and we had a few bonfires and it’s just quiet and relaxing. The deck is larger and loved that too - hanging out and enjoying the sun. The home was spacious for the 5 of us. We grilled and cooked statue house, and then a short drive into town for an awesome restaurant I forget the name of. Fishing license east to get in the area and any bait or lures or equipment you need. We absolutely loved it as a getaway for my brothers wedding.

The house was beautiful! The view was beautiful. Just across the road a small very well kept beach and park. We had two families of 5 and there was the perfect amount of space. Props to the property managers too. One of the gals was busting her behind to get the place perfect after the people before us checked out late. Can’t wait to go back

Beautiful Home & Great Location

This home was exactly as described in the listing. Super cute with lots of sleeping and gathering spaces. Our family had so much fun with our friends who stayed with us ( 4 adults and 3 kids total). I’ve never stayed in a rental that felt so much like a home! It wa s great to be able to walk right across the street to the beautifully kept sand beach and my husband took the kayak out fishing several times. Jodi was great to communicate with and even brought us freshly baked cookies when we arrived. Highly recommend and would stay again myself!
