"The house was in a great location. I will say the split systems required to cool the bedrooms were very noisy. The other thing that I didn't realize is that the house is just open to the basement - there's no door. That may not bother some, but it was a little odd for me, coming from an area that doesn't even have basements. "

"Great property! We enjoyed being unplugged for a few days. Talked, walked the property and listened to music around the fire table. "

"This home had it all! The perfect set up for all ages. We utilized the pool, hot tub, game room and had a movie night. We cooked dinners 3 out of our 4 nights and went for walks so the kids could see horses and cows. We explored nearby towns and found distilleries, golf courses, boutiques/shops and good restaurants and bakeries. We worked from the sunroom and out by the pool. We will definitely be back. The perfect place to get away!"

"It was very relaxing and peaceful. The owner was very nice. She answered all my questions. If you are traveling with elderly people then the down stairs bedroom is perfect. The house always stayed a nice temperature. The front porch was great. The swing would be more comfortable with cushions but it was nice to watch the birds. I would recommend adding a light to the stairs up on the porch. At night they are hard to see. We would definitely stay there again. "

"The property is beautiful and comfortable. The only thing that I would change would be to have been told that the property is at the end of a alley/driveway. I had difficulty reaching it and was nervous about driving down to the end of the driveway."

"Very spacious, enjoyed the view of the lake, and the pool table. Everyone had plenty of room, very comfortable and quiet neighborhood. We will be back again. "

"Lovely home, with a very beautiful & spacious kitchen, living room, dining area. Well equipped kitchen & well stocked TP & paper towel. Could use hand towels for bathrooms and dish towels in kitchen. The entire upstairs had incredible view of the lake! 3 sets of sliding doors that opened onto the upper deck. Incredibly serene!"

"The house was great, clean, comfy and had everything we needed. 2 things that could improve…let folks know the washer and dryer are in the basement. Wasn’t an issue for us but could be for some. We also couldn’t find the instructions for the Nest so regulating the thermostat was a bit challenging. Google helped us figure it out so all good!We would definitely stay here again. "

"The cute little blue cottage was perfect for our stay in Harrodsburg. Easy walk to the historic downtown. The cottage was very comfortable and well appointed. Good location for our tours to some bourbon distilleries and Shakertown Village. We would love to stay again if we get back to Harrodsburg area. Thank you!"

"Very nice and quiet. Entrance not real friendly for motorcycles but was able to use adjacent driveway. Friendliest people my sons from New Jersey have met. Definitely will recommend and visit again if going that directin. "

"Perfect landing spot for a weekend in Bourbon County. Quiet, extremely clean and impeccably decorated. Fully stocked with thoughtful essentials. Loved our stay there in a Historic building. Easy check in and convenient onsite parking. "

"Our overall experience was amazing. relaxing on the enclosed porch overlooking the lake was relaxing and breathtaking "

"This was a true retreat. So clean comfortable & had everything you’d possibly need. We loved the outdoor space to relax in the mornings & evenings. Lori Jo thought of everything & even reached out prior to trip to share places to eat we also chatted after the trip. She is a wonderful host. Would definitely recommend & return. Best place we have ever stayed at!"
