"Everything about the gardener lake house was wonderful. The drive-in is like going into another world down a long dirt road to privacy and spectacular view of the lake. Yet, you’re only a few miles from the town.The swimming on the other side of the dock is a nice Sandy bottom and easy for people and dogs. The trails at Quoddy State Park and at Campobello were close by with spectacular views of the rocky cliffs on the coast in the Bold Coast. The Roosevelt House on Campobello was an interesting and informative stop. We enjoyed the local restaurants and soaking in the hot tub after hiking.
