"Casual chill spot on the Clark Fork! The host was super kind and accommodating. He had everything we needed to make our trip with our dog perfect! We saw tons of wildlife, and had fun fishing on the bank. Access to water isn't for the faint of heart, but doable. Can't wait to go back!"

"When we pulled up to Shady Rest we thought, "okay.." But when we got inside, we were blown away, because for the price of a hotel room we had an entire house! John, the owner, greeted us and we got to know each other a little bit He was friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. John even offered us plums and/or apples from his fruit trees. "This property was perfect to accommodate our family of ten for 3 days of floating the river, fishing and swimming. The home was spacious and well appointed. It had everything we needed for large family dinners and the beds were clean and comfortable. Next year we’ll return for sure. "

"We traveled to the Charlo area for my uncles funeral. This house and the owners far surpassed our expectations. Heather and Jake were so welcoming and easy to communicate with. The house is amazing and the view breathtaking. We had family coming to visit all weekend and there was more than enough space inside and out. Our kids loved to play in the loft and especially on the paddle boats on the pond and on the swing set outside. We loved sitting around the fire pit at night enjoying the peaceful...

"House was cute and just as advertised. The neighborhood is perfectly located to walk into town for dinner or coffee and there are deer all over the place. We’d wake in the morning to have deer and even fawns right by the front door! The owner was great and checked up on us to make sure everything was ok. Would definitely stay again."
