"There were a lot of children there during my stay and it was very chaotic in the pool/hot tub area, so we were not able to enjoy ourselves. This was also true for the dining area during breakfast and dinner. I did ask a staff member who I could talk to about enforcing the hot tub rules about not having children under 5 use it. "The hotel staff were friendly & helpful. The gift bag of bottled water & chips we each received at check in made us feel welcomed. The our room was spacious & clean. Having the sofa in our room made it feel like a suite. The free breakfast was a plus. The hotel is in a good location. Next time we’re in Baton Rouge we will stay here again."

"The rooms were not that clean. It is a non smoking hotel, yet I was placed on the second floor surrounded by people that were smoking marijuana. They basically placed all the black people in one area as if we all do the same thing. I have a service dog with vest and badge and they tried to refuse my animal claiming no pets allowed but there were 5 other dogs and 2 cats in other rooms. The pool was never cleaned and the front lobby smelled like urine."
