"Breakfast was less than amazing. Sparse to our taste. Entire property is showing its age. We understand it's under new ownership so perhaps it will be spruced up as it deserves to be. Great location- walking distance to historical downtown and next door to the Hadley Garden. Amenity in bathroom included a bottle of body wash and one tiny bar of soap. Bed was very high and it was difficult to climb into for a short guest without help."

"Very nice but very old hotel but that’s what you expect from a Victorian era hotel. Rooms are nice with large bath. TV is very small and you must climb a very steep and tall stairway to the second floor. Breakfast is hard boiled eggs and yogurt and breads.
All in all was a very fun experience and very charming."

The breakfast was delicious and room was clean and comfortable. One slight negative was the water for the shower was temperamental…but everything else was perfect!"
