"This was just the right size for the two of us. Marie and Greg were super friendly and kindly let us have access to all their amenities including the outlook (great for watching the sunrise) and the gate that gives you easy access to Honoli’i Beach. Every activity we did was about 15 minutes away, aside from visiting the volcano which is about an hour drive. Hoping we can visit again soon!"

"It was a lovely stay. My family and I enjoyed the amenities. The house was stocked with extra supplies from soap, sunscreen, toothbrushes, and toys for the pool. "Awesome place to stay when in Hilo. Has everything you need to keep everyone entertained even when you are at the property. Billiards, dart board and basketball hoop kept the kids busy. Also, had bikes to ride to go to the beach nearby and tour the neighborhood. But the best thing about this place was that you can try the fruits from the trees in the backyard. "Our family of 11 stayed here for mom and dad’s service Was very clean, fresh and new. Lots of parking and space for our large family. We were able to gather in the great room and cook some meals. Great stay! Would recommend definitely! Thanks Maggie!"

"We enjoyed our stay here. It was a great home base for exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and other sights on the Big Island. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfy. We walked to the ocean in the morning for great views of the coast and spent a lot of time on the screened porch enjoying the trees and flowers in the yard. They even grow their own pineapples! "We had such a nice time staying in our Hawaiian Celebration! We booked the Bantam Suite (which looks upon the incredible heritage banyan tree on the property), but when we arrived we were offered the Carriage House due to a cancellation – we took it, and it gave us a kitchen, a LOT of space, and ocean views (and lovely sunrises) right from the bed. "A little drive north out of Hilo Check in and communications with host was easy and helpful. Property was as advertised and very relaxing. Loved the location!Definitely would stay again!"

"Very kind land lord who is willing to take that extra step to make sure you are satisfied. There were a couple of issues, but she made sure they were rectified. One thing I would like to suggest is replacing the bath linens, as they felt and looked old and scratchy. Thanks"

"We had a fab time. Jack the rooster made sure we woke daily at 6am. A the manager made sure we were safe in our first ever tsunami evacuation. The snorkeling with the turtles in the "back yard" was the cherry on top! "

"Really great house, gorgeous views of the ocean, and quiet, safe neighborhood. The long drive in took some getting used to but we really appreciate how off the beaten path it was. Communication with the host was very easy and prompt. Thanks for a memorable vacation!"

"Beautiful home and location. Beach across the street is rocky but gorgeous. We saw several large turtles grazing on the shore. Beach/park is public and can sometimes have locals with loud entertainment, etc. Still a wonderful stay!"
