Set in the private grounds of Lazonby Estate, 1 Lazonby Hall Cottages is the perfect modern country cottage, sleeping up to 5 guests. Perfectly positioned for exploring the Pennines, Hadrians Wall and the Lake District. The cottage is ideal for families and couples alike. Completely refurbished in 2020 it is clean, cosy and inviting. Full of bespoke and antique items of furniture and paintings, it really is a unique place. Never-ending views of fields and forests mean you can't help but feel relaxed.

Property was very clean and a lovely welcome of home made soda bread and ginger cake, was a treat.We found the stairs a little difficult at times, but all rooms were beautiful, characterful and homely.Shame we couldn’t use the TV due to lack of wifi but we appreciate the area has problems with signals.We would have liked some egg cups but overall it was a well stocked kitchen.Thank you for a wonderful stay.

sehr zu empfehlen!

das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen, umgeben von herrlicher Natur. Es wurde komplett renoviert, ist geschmackvoll hochwertig und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, ausserdem war es extrem sauber. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und können es absolut empfehlen!

Wonderful stay

Thank you for a lovely stay in your cottage. It is beautifully decorated, a perfect stay. All rooms have a very unique charm, attention to detail. The lounge with the log fire was perfect after walks in the amazing surrounding area. Would highly recommend and would love to come and stay again. Thank you

No.1 Lazonby Hall Cottages

Wonderful, home from home cottage with everything you need and more and spotlessly clean too. So peaceful and quiet with lovely views. Great location too with easy drives to the Lake District, Eden Valley and the surrounding areas. I can`t recommend this cottage highly enough as you just need to book it and see for yourselves,

Great Accommodation!

This property met all our expectations and more! We were a little hesitant about the location being a little further out of the main lake district, but this was not an issue at all. Approx. 30 minutes from Keswick, Hadrians Wall and Carlisle. In fact, being located outside of the main tourism areas was a bonus. The property is in a quiet, rural location and was a home from home. A co-op was 5 mins (if that!) by car and Penrith, the nearest town, also had supermarkets. The accommodation is as described and as the photo's show. It was very clean and had all the amenities needed. The welcome gift was very unexpected and a lovely touch!! Colette was great and helped with any queries we had. We would highly recommend the cottage, and would stay again if visiting the same area.

Great stay

We had a fantastic week in this property. The location is secluded in gorgeous countryside in the Eden Valley. The property is thoughtfully laid out and beautifully presented. The garden is lovely too, a great space to relax in. The property worked well for our family of two adults and two older teenagers. It's very convenient for Penrith and in easy striking distance of the Lake District. We fully recommend the cottage.

excellent stay

this was a fab property. from the welcome pack to the doggy treats brill. would highly recommend. the cottage was lovely surroundings lovely. would love to go back. highly recommend the crown inn for food yum yum.

Lovely country side retreat

A beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need. A lovely big garden which our 2 dogs loved and wonderful walking right from the door. Excellent communication with Colette right from the start. Thank you.
