    Sala de estar / comedor: nivel dividido con TV con canales Freeview, reproductor de DVD, reproductor de CD y puertas de patio.
    Cocina: con vitrocerámica, microondas, nevera, lavavajillas y lavadora.

    Dormitorio 1: con cama doble, vigas, puertas que dan al jardín y baño con cabina de ducha (sin inodoro).
    Dormitorio 2: con dos camas individuales.
    Baño: con bañera y aseo.
    WC separado. . Calefacción central de gasoil, electricidad, ropa de cama y toallas incluidas. Jardín con patio elevado sin vallar y muebles de jardín. Estacionamiento privado. No Fumar.. Convertido en un bungalow separado de dos niveles de la antigua estación de Gaisgill, amplio y luminoso, amueblado con un muy buen nivel, en estilo danés. Adyacente a la casa del propietario, entre los parques nacionales Lakes y Dales (ambos a 20 minutos en auto), en el valle de Lune, ideal para caminar. El A685 está al lado de Gaisgill, con acceso a los Howgills. Establezca el enlace ferroviario Carlisle en Kirkby Stephen. Pub 1½ millas, compre 3 millas.

    Hay 2 pasos para una de las habitaciones. Hasta un perro solo.

A beautiful cottage surrounded by lovely countryside. Easy access to the Lakes and Yorkshire dales both of which are stunning.The cottage is extremely well equipped and very comfortable with lovely gardens.Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Wonderful and well kept property.

Wonderful and well kept property. The owners were really helpful and friendly. Location was great for access to everything, the only slight negative is that it is on a main road, so if you're not used to road noise you might struggle, but we will definitely come again - the views are incredible and it had everything and more to make it a relaxing and enjoyable holiday!

Home from home

I have never stayed in a rental cottage which has had so much cutlery, kitchen equipment and generally almost everything you could wish for, for a comfortable stay. Nice and clean throughout, only draw back was the road that passes close by, but triple glazing made that almost inaudible.

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage with great views across sheep dotted hills. Great walks right from the doorstep, which our dog enjoyed very much. Would have been even better had the weather been good. There is a big tree with bird feeders in the garden which had birds visiting throughout the day, including a woodpecker! The hosts are very nice and helpful. They live next door but not intrusive, and are available in case you need anything or have any questions. The weather wasn't kind to us, but we still enjoyed our time at the cottage. Would highly recommend. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Excellent place to stay

It's really a clean and spacious house for our family to have a wonderful week in lake District. The location is very good and just take about 30 minutes to go to the popular lakes. Sitting in the house, you can view a beautiful countryside picture with sheep and various kinds of animals. We had really peaceful summer holiday there.

Lovely place! Only real faults we could think of was in the main bathroom, the radiator (we think) kept making loud noises which kept making our little girl jump. Secondly, there is road noise which you notice early in the morning and late at night. 20 mins from Kendall where there are lots of eateries etc. Central to lots of attractions in the Lake District. A lovely, clean and well equipped cottage with good access to the Lakes and Dale's. A beautiful garden with a tree in front of the large living room windows with many bird feeders which attract a large variety of birds including a woodpecker and nut hatch. The cottage is located on a main road (the old railway track) so there is some traffic noise in the garden but this did not spoil our enjoyment. A beautiful and unique holiday cottage with fabulous views! Very spacious, clean and well equipped and makes a great base for exploring both The Dales and The Lakes. Owners v friendly and welcoming. Garden is lovely and we enjoyed watching the birds flock to the feeders on the tree in front of the lounge window! Location is very good between lakes and dales.it was good to watch woodpeckers and goldfinches etc feeding in the garden.it is a well equiped cottage .I can highly recommend an evening meal at the black swan inn at ravenstonedale village,just a couple miles up the road.The owners live next door and are lovely helpful couple.I would highly recommend and will go again. A most enjoyable week, lovely clean, well equipped cottage.

A most enjoyable week, lovely clean, well equipped cottage. Wonderful views, the triple glazing did much to reduce the sound of passing traffic which in no way spoiled the overall enjoyment. Easy access to the Lakes & Dales. We would book again if we wanted this location.

Unique property and is exceptionally clean and well appointed, owners were very helpful and accommodating. Situated amongst beautiful rural scenery and a few miles apart from the Lakes. Lakes are easily accessible but minimal shopping facilities nearby. Would have no hesitation is returning.
