A charming 1860s stone cottage with an eclectic mix of antique, vintage and contemporary features awaits you. Comprising a large, private, dog friendly garden, 2 luxury bedrooms, spa bath, reverse cycle air-conditioning, wood fire and situated just a leisurely 10 minute stroll from Penola town centre, Air’s Cottage is a relaxing and historic retreat, perfect for couples and friends.

Your accommodation includes the entire fully equipped cottage and garden, slab hut BBQ and dining area, complimentary wifi, secure on-site car parking, contactless arrival, peace and quiet and all that the good life of the Coonawarra has to offer.

Relax on the chesterfield sofas with a delicious bottle of Coonawarra wine or a complimentary glass of local port and great company.

Indulge in a hot chocolate and watch our smart TV with free to air channels, movies and programs.

​We offer a fine selection of premium teas, sugar, granulated coffee, coffee pods, oil and salt and pepper for your convenience.

The queen-sized bedroom has vintage furniture, a handforged iron bedstead, plump pillows, pure cotton linen, electric blankets, a cosy doona and soft blanket.

The double bedroom is cosy and romantic. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in personality. Charming furniture, decadent pillows, pure cotton linen, electric blankets, warm and cosy doona and soft blanket complete the mood.

A very quaint cottage. History behind the cottage is extremely interesting. Cottage is well appointed and clean.Penola and its surrounds are lovely.

This property was perfect for the four of us for a wedding weekend in Penola. Plenty of room, great wifi for a late Friday afternoon video call and a functional and tidy kitchen. Wish we had more time to enjoy the outdoor kitchen/hut - looks like the perfect spot for a cheese board and some local wines. Great communication, allowed an early check-in for my meeting and responsive when we had questions throughout the stay. Would recommend.

A charming cottage with expansive, beautiful gardens that our dog loved exploring. Well positioned, with the ability to walk to the local pubs - both of which put on a fantastic meal. Easy drive to the wineries and a comfortable place to come back to at the end of a busy day exploring the region. Jen was also really great to deal with.

The cottage is exceptional. Quirky, expertly modernised but with its history well to the fore. We stayed for a few days and enjoyed Penola and surrounds. St Mary's distillery is well worth a visit.

Gorgeous historical cottage in a lovely town - this is an ideal location to use as a home base while exploring the southeast of the state. The house is full of the little details that make a stay effortless and fun. Best suited to a group of three or four adults, it's not really set up for little kids - but it does have a truely amazing backyard if you like BBQing or happen to be travelling with pets. One of the best places we have stayed!

Beautiful cottage with everything provided to make our stay comfortable. Short walk to shops and dining. Visitors center in Penola provided helpful information and we were able to visit historical sites within walking distance of the cottage. Beautifully furnished and well equipped place to stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a brilliant little break. Close to town, just a short stroll up the road. The cottage was just the right size and had everything we needed plus more. It had plenty of outdoor areas where we enjoy the ambience at any time of the day. Enjoyed having so many meals in the outdoor areas whilst enjoying the lovely weather and fantastic back yard .
