"The log cabin is very charming. It was our first time staying in a log cabin, so the construction was really interesting and seemed unique. The decor was very country in keeping with a log cabin. The upholstered chairs and sofas are super comfortable. The kitchen is so convenient; everything is within easy reach. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, def pack your own herbs and spices. There are convenient grocery stores within 10 minutes for you to stock up on condiments and all the ingredients...

"This property was exactly as described and was perfect for our family! It was close enough to the town and all the things we wanted to do but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The host checked on us and was very responsive when needed but really left us to do our thing. The house had modern amenities while still having all of the charm of a century home. Would definitely stay here again! "

"Perfect home for our family of 14 celebrating my mom’s 80th! Spacious kitchen with two dishwashers, great pool area, and plenty of room to gather. Loved the sunsets, outdoor amenities, and convenient location. Hosts were wonderful and responsive—highly recommend!"

"The property provided a quiet rural setting for relaxation while being close to attractions. There was ample space for hanging out together or relaxing on our own. The home was clean and necessities provided. Checkin was easy, check out was easy, and the property owner/manager answered any questions within a timely manner. Thank you for providing us with a wonderful place to relax!"

"Everything was near brand new. Washer and dryer were fantastic. Beds comfortable. Be aware there is no dishwasher but was no problem. Was a little musty near the back staircase in the heat of the day. Worked with the mngt company and owner and a sibling came out to help resolve. Expect small delay getting help with issues, the sibling nearby runs a farm and works hard! They were great people!WiFi worked fine for us. "Everything was as described, and the beds we're really comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. Check in and out was easy. Great location, right in the heart of things."

"I have been looking at this property for a few years, wanting a place with a full kitchen and a private house. I gave 5 stars because it was pretty much what I was looking for. The plastic covering on the beds was a bit uncomfortable. I realize it’s more sanitary although I would suggest a washable fitted cover over the plastic mattress pad and then the sheets. It would cut the extra sweating that occurs lying on a sheet over the plastic. Also there was only one extremely worn out dish...

"Amazing location on Baltimore Road in Gettysburg, easy walk to town square and very well located.This is an older property with "custom" renovations but that is what we were expecting. If you want a luxury VRBO, this is not for you. If you want a well located property with very nice touches from the host (bars / muffins / eggs / etc) then you will appreciate this unit.It was clean enough but there were a couple of surprises for us, so do a preventative wash on your favorite items.Absolutely...
