"Absolutely amazing, great location, nice and peaceful. Host made sure that me and my friend are happy with everything and she was available if we needed anything. We had a lovely welcome gift ( Prosseco, chocolates and delicious Welsh cakes), the hot tub was warm and ready for us on arrival. "Good single room in this inn for a traveller at reasonable rate. Great basic breakfast, pay a bit extra for cooked stuff. Lovely friendly staff. I loved the bar atmosphere, a hub for locals and for Welsh singing and music-making (at weekend, when I was there, at least.) Good Celtic kind of "craic"."

"Lion Hotel has everything we required for our weeks stay. An excellent varied evening menu offering choices of both Indian and English dishes. The buffet breakfast offered all the usual fair which the staff constantly kept topped up. Our double room was spacious with clean en-suite facilities. All the hotel staff were pleasant and willing to help you in anyway they could. The bottom line is, yes we would be happy to stay at The Lion Hotel again."

"We had an amazing stay here. The rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. We loved the suite with its living area and the breakfast was delicious. The hosts could not have done more. So friendly and helpful. They also had lots of games and toys and a garden which were great for the kids. "

"Nice comfy room with a sea view, comfortable bed, super friendly staff, a nice pub and good breakfast in a great location. Also parking was free :) there were just minor things to improve - the door handle in the bathroom was loose as well as the temperature setting in the shower. Also internet was unstable so if you wanna stream something, its almost impossible. We had room 12 on the third floor, which we didnt mind, but consider if youre older or require accessibility :-)"

"Hotel looking very tired. 3 black bin bags and a broken cup remained in the corridor for 2 days and was still there when I left. Booked a double room but was given one with 3 beds, window didn’t open. Nowhere to put any wash bags etc in the bathroom. Bed was comfy and food was ok. Be aware if you book to stay via a third party app like Expedia, the hotel will charge you £10 per night to park in the car park"
