"Lovely building in a quiet area but easily walkable to the town centre. There’s a car park right at the hotel. Check in was in the bar area, which was fine, there’s no lift but there’s only a couple of floors anyway. No breakfast but we were already aware and happy to eat elsewhere. Room and en-suite were nice, room had a fridge which was great! We had plenty of towels. Only drawbacks were, bed was a bit creaky, and the bathroom could have done with a little shelf or worktop to set toiletries ...

"The welcome was lovely our room was ready early so they managed to allow using early. Which was so appreciated . Donald the manager and the team cannot do enough for you. Kyle was excellent at the bar on our first two evenings and he sorted out our room TV in minutes, after I had managed to mess it up?
