"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....

"What a great find this was.... Originally I was looking for a nice hotel for the night as a little treat with my partner. Due to the Take That performing at Swansea.Com Stadium the same night. Hotel prices were sky high, nearly all had over doubled in price, some asking £400+. Than out of the blue I find this beauty..... Absolutely stunning views as far as the eye can see all round. "Little hideaway perfect for a bit of down time for yourself without the huddle bustle of life - owners were on hand for any questions and checked in to ensure I had everything I needed, and very friendly making me feel very welcome. "

"The property is in a beautiful location, the views from the garden are incredible. The facilities are all as mentioned, the hot tub was well maintained and a real luxury. The property wasn’t the cleanest, but in a rural location in great weather we didn’t spend much time on the house. The gardens are great and the land around is all accessible along with the animals on the farm. There are a few other properties in the same location and you have a neighbour directly next door to the farm...

"We enjoyed staying at this cottage and it made a great base for exploring the southern coast of Cardigan Bay, which has some fabulous stretches of the coastal path. However, the cottage was really cold when when arrived mainly because the owner insists on turning the radiators to frost setting and then locking them. "We were a group of 6 adults, 6 children and 4 dogs. The house offered a perfect base to explore the local areas. The kitchen is one of the most well equipped we have stayed in which was perfect for cooking meals to enjoy together in the house. The garden is perfect for the kids and dogs to run around in and the children spent ages occupying themselves on the tyre swing. "A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

It is well situated for easy access to neighbouring towns especially Carmarthen approximately 7 miles away and, which is well appointed with shops, drinking and eating establishments and with many retail outlets nearby. There are several attractions in the area which we were not able to take advantage of because of time.
