"This property was exactly as described and was perfect for our family! It was close enough to the town and all the things we wanted to do but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The host checked on us and was very responsive when needed but really left us to do our thing. The house had modern amenities while still having all of the charm of a century home. Would definitely stay here again! "

"My family and I were in town to attend a sports event right down the road, and this place was perfect! Beautiful, quiet/private location, plenty of space for the kids (and parents) to relax, and the cabin is equipped with everything you could possibly want. If you're in the area, I would absolutely recommend staying here!"

"This was a perfect stay. We were already talking about coming back to stay here after 5 minutes. All of the comforts of home. Cozy and comfortable. Drinking morning coffee outside near the stream, was the best way to start the day! The artisan touches and furnishings were very well done and added a storybook touch. "We absolutely loved all the antiques displayed. My friend and I were in our glory looking through the house and all of the antiques. It was a step back in time. We would recommend some nice rockers or good seating for the front porch. We wanted to sit outside and relax when we got there, but it wasn’t really set up on the porch with comfy seating for 4. "

"Our overnight stay with our small dog at the Galloping Getaway was such a pleasant surprise. Having just completed a long day's drive, the beauty and quiet of the property was so refreshing. We found the apartment pristine in appearance, with many thoughtful items added to make us feel right at home. Even though the apartment was located below the owner's residence, it was very quiet and the furnishings including the bed, were very comfortable. Tammie was very helpful in communicating with us...
