"This was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. I would give it a 10 if possible. The owners made you feel welcome and were very accommodating. Room and property was better than advertised! Its remote location along with a lake front on property was awesome. The fact that they had kayaks/canoes for guests to use was such a pleasant surprise. "Everything about the gardener lake house was wonderful. The drive-in is like going into another world down a long dirt road to privacy and spectacular view of the lake. Yet, you’re only a few miles from the town.The swimming on the other side of the dock is a nice Sandy bottom and easy for people and dogs. The trails at Quoddy State Park and at Campobello were close by with spectacular views of the rocky cliffs on the coast in the Bold Coast.
