"According Poggio" is a private historic villa built in 1700 and Entirely renovated in 2012 in full respect of Its History, original design and materials.
It is a short drive away from Florence (25Km distance), located on the hills of the Tuscan countryside.
The villa comes with a private 40. 000sqm olive tree garden and a state-of-the-art swimming pool to relax.

Great vacation property ! We enjoyed the peace and tranquility that this amazing property offered. Loved the location and the house was great for our family of 6. Kids loved playing around the huge property and the short walks into town each day.

Das Haus war so wie in der Anzeige. Lage ist super. Sehr gut zum entspannen. Kein deutscher Sender im TV. Der Pool ist groß aber nicht beheizt. Immer wieder gerne.

What a slice of paradise Marco's house is, it is better than the photos and the perfect place to retreat to after exploring the Tuscan countryside. Mrs Lucia, her sister and daughter gave us an unforgettable evening teaching us how to make pasta...something the kids will never forget. The pool was a beautiful relief from the heat. Beds very comfortable. Marco a great communicator. We would definitely come back stay!

Our family of 6 (4 adults - 2 teenagers) had a fantastic journey in this nice villa in the Tuscan hills, close to Florence (30 minutes drive by car). The villa is fully equipped, the garden is well maintained, the pool is extraordinary and the views are spectacular. Lucia and her family welcomed us at our arrival, and the communication went smoothly. The perfect location to visit the area, like Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa and the sea side. I highly recommend this property.

The beautiful views of the hills outside our front door were breathtaking. We loved being nestled amongst the olive trees, fruit trees, flowers and acres of vineyards. The cherry trees were ripe for picking. The home was a perfect choice of vintage villa set with beautifully decorated rooms. Our granddaughter enjoyed her room with all the toys and games. The kitchen was well stocked and the highlight was Lucia’s lasagna meal. We can’t wait to make it at home. The pool became the ideal rest and comfort between days of sightseeing. The hammock and gazebo areas gave us a lovely way to unwind and capture the view. Marco and Adele went above and beyond in so many ways. They even provided a soccer ball for our granddaughter. Lucia and her family took excellent care of us and we enjoyed getting to know them. Excellent rating +++

Everything about this property was perfect. The location overlooked the valley, you could see the sunrises in the morning over the hills. The house keeper and her family were extremely helpful. The house was presented in a clean and tidy manner. Marco's communication was above and beyond and so was his brother, who orgamised the taxi to the aeroport. Perfect!

Die Villa liegt in Alleinlage an einem Hang mit Olivenbäumen. Wir haben dort eine Woche mit zwei Familien verbracht. Für 8 Personen wurde ein Aufstellbett benötigt. Der Pool war der Mittelpunkt des Geschehens und ein echtes Highlight mit Blick auf die historische Altstadt von Pelago. Der Blick ist wie ein Gemälde! Vor Ort kümmert sich eine nette Dame und das Haus, deren Töchter uns empfangen haben und uns alles notwendige erzählt haben. Wir wurden mit Wein und Geschenken empfangen und fühlten uns sofort willkommen! Haus, Lage, Umgebung und Vermieter sind nur zu empfehlen! Jederzeit wieder!!!

Wir haben unsere Familienwoche in Marcos Haus sehr genossen. Besonders gefallen hat uns die sehr persönliche Ausstattung und liebevolle Einrichtung, einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Die Croissants morgens zum Frühstück waren schnell und geholt (Fußweg zum coop und Markt (donnerstags) nur 10 Minuten). Der Pool war immer für eine Erfrischung oder den Tagesanfang gut. Im Garten Granatäpfel, Olivenbäume soweit das Auge reicht und Feigenbäume mit köstlichen Früchten zum Naschen. Aales in allem: Super!

Ein wundervolles Urlaubsdomizil in traumhafter Lage. Eine Unterkunft die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Die Vermieter sind unwahrscheinlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Top Lage! Die florentinischen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mit dem Auto gut und schnell erreichbar.

Ein wunderbarer Urlaub in einer herrlichen Umgebung ist nun leider zu Ende. Das Haus, der Garten, der Pool, der Blick, die Umgebung….es ist alles traumhaft schön, sehr gepflegt und liebevoll hergerichtet. Wir haben die Zeit in Pelago sehr genossen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Grazie per tutto!

Bei unserer Ankunft waren wir sofort hellauf begeistert. Der Blick vom Grundstück auf das Dorf Pelago sowie die bewaldeten Hügel ist überwältigend. Das Haus sowie das Grundstück und der Pool sind sehr gepflegt. Das ganze Haus ist toll ausgestattet und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Service mit Handtüchern und wöchentlichem Wechsel der Bettwäsche sowie Poolreinigung war angenehm. Auch an unseren Hund wurde gedacht, es stand ein Wassernapf sowie ein Hundekorb im Wohnzimmer bereit. Sehr freundliche Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort. Wir haben uns als Familie mit 5 Kindern zwischen 1 und 16 Jahren sehr wohl gefühlt und waren sehr traurig, als der Urlaub nach 2 Wochen vorbei war! Insgesamt ist das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

We had an extraordinary stay at Marco‘s lovely house. This is the perfect place for a quiet vacation to relax at the Pool and a perfect destination for daytrips around Tuscany. Communication with Marco and his team was super easy and especially the thoughfulness and help with dinner suggestions etc was much appreciated. I highly recommend to stay here.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll möbliert, die Ausstattung ist großzügig, innen wie aussen. Das weitläufige Grundstück bietet einen hinreißenden Ausblick über die Hügel. Wir haben auch die fussläufige Nähe des Ortes mit kleinem Supermarkt und Bar sehr geschätzt, wie auch die gute Bahnverbindung aus Pontassieve (5 km) in die Innenstadt von Florenz. Ein Ort an dem man hervorragend Erholung und Kultur verbinden kann.
