"I checked in went to 3rd floor room and keys didnt open door. Went back to elevator got in pressed lobby and elevator dropped drastically and threw myself and the luggage cart. Then lights went out and emergency and help buttons did not work. Doors would not open. Nothing worked. I immediately called 911. Eventually an officer arrived and he yelled through the door that he had to reset the elevator. He did so the elevator turned on and went up and down and the doors opened. I got off thanked...

"I did a cross country road trip where I stayed at a lot of hotels. Pecos had the worst rooms but also I had the most fun here. The pool was the warmest and had a giant chess set. Close to a park as well and had a upgraded smart TV. Lots of the other hotels that to stayed at with nicer and more updated rooms had a closed in door pool or the pools were heated and freezing. None of them had anything fun like a giant chess set either."

"Tv didn’t work. Tub was dirty. Breakfast was bare bones one fruit of each variety. The elevator was broken. The room I reserved wasn’t cleaned so they had to give me ones with a smaller bed. I was exhausted from driving all day so just slept and left. "

"This hotel, it turns out, had only been open to guests 1 day. They were not prepared. Ssud they had no luggage carts. Workers still onsite painting. No exterior lights Staff was very apologetic, but offered no remedies."

"I absolutely love this place. Every time I go visit Pecos it always been a pleasure staying there. Any issue I have ever had has been resolved immediately by the lovely lady who runs the front desk usually. She is an absolute delight. They clean the room every day if you’d like when you step out of the hotel for while. I usually ask for a do not disturb sign because I prefer for them to clean it once I leave and they absolutely respect the sign and do not go into the room. My only complaint I...

"There was NO hot water and the bread for breakfast had mold on it. The guy at the desk told me “I should have mentioned that we didn’t have hot water before you booked”….."
