Visitors will find themselves in a golfer’s paradise at this mid-century Pebble Beach® home, with views of nearby greens visible from most rooms of the house, and with several other courses within a few minutes’ drive.

The one-level 1,200-square-foot pet-friendly home in the exclusive Pebble Beach® community can be enjoyed indoors or out, with a flagstone patio offering great views of the Monterey Peninsula County Club golf course and distant ocean views beyond. It’s also within walking distance of the beach and China Rock Vista point, and a few minutes’ drive to Rip Van Winkle Open Space, a strip of forested terrain popular with hikers, joggers, bikers and off-leash dog walkers.

Not only is the MPCC course nearby, but also Poppy Hills, Spanish Bay, and the Pebble Beach® Golf Links. Dining and shopping can also be found in abundance at the Pebble Beach® and Spanish Bay resorts.

The 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath home is also conveniently located just 10 minutes by car from downtown Carmel, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row and Asilomar, and about half an hour from Big Sur.

Living Spaces
Guests entering the front door will find themselves in the living room with tile floors, comfortable sofas surrounding a vintage decorative fireplace filled with battery-operated candles and a 55-inch Samsung Smart UHD TV.
The single-level renovated post-adobe home has whitewashed vaulted ceilings, tiled floors in the kitchen and living room, carpeted bedrooms and large windows throughout that let in plenty of natural light. Eclectic décor reflecting the coastal environment complements the unique character of this residence.

The open floor plan includes the living room, dining area and kitchen that all look out on lovely views of the Monterey Peninsula County Club golf course.

Even better views can be enjoyed from the flagstone patio, which is bordered by moss-covered live oaks and Monterey pines, and has patio seating around a firepit, as well as a gourmet gas barbecue, the perfect place to host afternoon get-togethers or to have a glass of wine in the evenings.

Kitchen and Dining
Inside, a glass dining table near the window features seating for six; there are also two more seats at the adjacent kitchen counter. The fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher) offers tile countertops, a double sink, a Keurig machine, and a vintage O’Keefe & Merritt four-burner gas stove with a center griddle. Access to the kitchen is available from a side door that opens onto the parking area.
A stacked washer-dryer is also conveniently located in the kitchen.
**Please note, there is no dishwasher in this home.**

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom #1 looks out on the golf course, and includes a queen bed with wooden headboard and bedding in muted coastal colors, as well as a 43-inch Smart TV. The en suite full bath features a tub/shower with removable shower head, tiled vanity top and tile floor.

Bedroom #2 has two twin beds that can be converted to a split king with foam topper as needed, and is next to a half-bath in the hallway with tiled vanity top, large mirror and plenty of storage space. Please note that the full bath is inside Bedroom #1.

Parking for several vehicles is available in the circular driveway, and a shed is available to store bicycles and beach gear.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

The stay is not inclusive of the $12.25 per car, per day Gate Fee to be paid directly to the community of Pebble Beach®. Ask us for details.

The house was as advertised. Location (within -7-mile drive) is beautiful and close to Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay and gorgeous shore. Right off golf course. Enjoy seeing deer every day. Quick drive to downtown Carmel.Stayed with my sisters so sharing a shower was not concern. Kitchen was well stocked.Hosts were easy to communicate with.I would definitely stay there again.

Very peaceful experience. Deer often came near the back porch and on the golf course. No issues and the property is as described. Thankful for the time spent here.

We had a wonderful small family gathering for Thanksgiving. The setting was beautiful for morning coffee with a view of the golf course and walks all day long. It was easy access to the beach and to city central. The hosts/management could not be more accommodating. Wonderful!

Great location with lovely view of golf course and local wildlife, lots of natural light. Very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishware, and the bed was comfortable. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. We hope to stay again in the future!

We have had the most wonderful stay! This home is just perfect! The moment we walked in we felt at home. The furnishings and decor are pristine and SO BEAUTIFUL! It looks like stepping into a magazine! We hardly wanted to leave during our stay and we were more than a little sad to have to go home. Love love love! If we could give this rental more than 5 stars we would. We can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. It was comfortable with great decor and the location was perfect. We enjoyed sitting outside on the back deck and watching the golfers. Our dog also loved to just lay and look out the window at the deer and other wildlife. We will definitely be back!!

We loved our stay in Pebble Beach at this quaint ranch home. The location was perfect for our needs with wonderful views of the MPCC Shore Course. The home had everything we needed including starter supplies for laundry, bathroom essentials, and COFFEE! We appreciated the instructional placards throughout the home especially how to operate the TV/Entertainment systems in each room. The vintage stove worked great, and there was plenty of room throughout the home for our family of three. The only drawback was a lack of a dishwasher, but we knew that ahead of time and were prepared. The management company was STELLAR to work with, I cannot overstate how proactive Sanctuary was with us. The called multiple times to ensure we had what we needed and they even delivered a pack of battery operated candles after the historic wind/rain storm on the Peninsula. This was an absolute game changer for our last night that was without power. We would definitely stay at Adobe by the Sea again!

Older house and main bathroom has a window but no mirror over the sink. The other bathroom has a mirror, sink and toilet. The backyard is not fenced if you want to bring pets. The kitchen is very well stocked but the oven is old and they had to blow out the lines so we could use it. We got ants and they brought ant traps.

We couldn't have been happier with this home for our anniversary getaway. It was clean, quiet, and perfect for our needs. Neighborhood is lovely to walk around and the ocean isn't too far. Also enjoyed the backyard area, deer, countless birds, bunnies, etc. We will most definitely be back!

I was a little skeptical booking this home due to the negative reviews on cleanliness but honestly we had no problem with that at all. The home was very clean and beautiful! Our family of 4 stayed here for 5 days and we loved the quiet neighborhood surrounded by the golf course. There was a gate to enter the neighborhood so we felt very safe. It was within 10-15 minute drive to everything we wanted to visit; the aquarium, Cannery Row, Fisherman's Wharf, downtown. The house itself is beautifully decorated with a beach theme. Beds and couch were comfortable. We loved the outdoor patio! Our only complaint was that the kitchen was a tad small. We ended up cooking most of our meals on our trip at the house. There was no extra storage space for food besides the refrigerator. We ended up just storing it in the box we brought it all in and some on the countertop-which worked. The stove was also tricky to figure out. You had to light the stove top and oven with a lighter which we were completely fine with once we figured it out. Overall we really loved this home and would definitely consider staying here again when in Monterey!

We rented this house for a long weekend to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday and we were all impressed at how well-appointed the house was. Most vacation rentals provide the bare minimum in kitchen utensils, towels, disposables (TP, trash bags etc) but Sanctuary Rentals really goes above and beyond to make this house just like home. The kitchen is beyond fully stocked; you could prepare any kind of meal or even bake cakes in this place without bringing any equipment from home. The beds are comfy, and although the house is small, there is plenty of room for a family to sit and hang out in the living and dining rooms, and the outside area is huge. My dad is an avid golfer and really enjoyed the view out onto the fairway at MPCC. My only complaint is that although it is a dog-friendly property the yard isn’t fenced in. Not a huge deal but it would have been nice to not have to leash the pup for potty breaks. It’s a small detail and I would gladly rent this house again the next time I’m in Monterey.
