"Despite platinum Expedia status, no room upgrade was offered at check-in and when I asked we were told no other rooms were available even though the couple in line behind us at reception were offered several alternatives. However, after mentioning this in a Hilton review we were offered a complimentary breakfast which was very kind of the hotel management and greatly appreciated by us."

"The property was very well appointed and maintained. Our suite was very nice, quiet and comfortable. We did not have a chance to try the hotel restaurant, although it looked very nice and had an appealing menu. The rooftop bar had many lounge chairs snd tables with seating, all of which offered a spectacular panoramic view of Main Street, Lake Placid and Mirror Lake.
