I think the hotel misses the marks on a lot of elements
Check in felt like going through the motions and no one really cared.
Zero flexibility on an early check in, we arrived at 2.15pm and it knew at that moment there was zero chance they would accommodate a 45 minute early arrival. Finally we were escorted to our room, after 3pm, by someone that was more interested in sitting in the back office playing on their mobile phone than engaging with us about the facilities of the hotel.
The building itself looks tired and worn for something that’s just over two years old and didn’t have the wow factor I was honestly expecting.
The external lift connecting the Carpark with level three, the facade is rusted in many spots which makes you wonder how safe the two level ride is.
Housekeeping were haphazard, one day our room wasn’t cleaned so we called requesting even though we had been out all day.
Turndown service, only happened three of the six nights we stayed
The TV service drops in and out and there is no ability to use a streaming service.
The highlight was their food and beverage service. The buffet breakfast was excellent, though don’t expect it to be ready for 6am. But the amount of wastage by over zealous guests piling their plates with too much food was hard to watch. We dined at their restaurant and their Indian food was outstanding, as was the cocktails and the staff.
Everything else left a lot to be desired & I would avoid staying in Patong at all costs. It’s seedy.
