"We loved our stay at the Rock House! The home was clean and comfortable. John and his daughter Amy were very accommodating. We got to visit with John a couple of times. He showed us how to get to the river, both on the property and from a nearby public road and even provided us plenty of firewood. There were a lot of ticks by the river so I recommend bringing tick spray. I suspect it has to to with the time of year rather than location because this was not the only spot we picked them up and...

"Lovely place to stay if you want quiet and seclusion. Off the beaten path but convenient to area National Park and hiking trails."

"This secluded cabin in the woods was perfect for my husband and I. We saw lots of wildlife and never saw another person while we were there. It was close enough to town, hiking trails, the river, and other activities that we didn’t have to drive more than 15-45 minutes for anything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay again! "

"The cabin was very comfortable with a good location close to the river and activities. The outdoor porch area with the grill needed to be cleaned. Inside was nice and clean. Advice - print the instructions and directions prior to leaving. We have AT&T and lost cell service 15 miles from Jasper with no way to contact the host when we couldn’t find our way. Luckily, an employee at a nearby grocery store was kind enough to let us use their phone’s hotspot. What an adventure "

"The cabin was just what we were looking for - privacy, close to town, right on the edge of the woods to give a nice outdoor feeling but with all the modern conveniences. Nice little fire ring and sitting area and outdoor hot tub. Nicely appointed with everything we needed. Very clean and cozy. Great communications. Would definitely recommend."

"The cabin was exactly as pictured with the addition of better living room furniture which was comfy and nice. Beds were very comfortable. We were surprised we had neighbors, but they were quiet and kept to themselves. If they had spent time on there deck and watched our evening fire pit time, that would have been upsetting. There was wood on the fire pit for us when we arrived, and the had a basket of items for smores on the table. We had a great time! "

"This was a clean, spacious property with all the necessities. It was located in nature but quick and easy drive to town. We had plenty of room for 7 persons. Would stay again. Hosts responded quickly to any questions."

"Our family stayed is this very clean, well appointed cabin. The view was amazing. It was close to the wedding venue for our daughters wedding. The only thing that i could suggest is maybe putting small dressers in the bedroom so we had a place to put our clothes. Otherwise it was perfect in every way. Thank you so much, wish we could have stayed longer daughters wedding"

"The beginning of the summer we like to getaway and hike, spend time together away from the hustle and bustle of cities together as a family, enjoying nature and having fun. This cabin did not disappoint!! The attention to detail for this property was fantastic, location was secluded and off the beaten path, but so worth it!! The views were amazing and we loved the humming birds!"

"The sunsets were spectacular. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and had all required amenities. Sitting on the back porch sipping coffee in the morning was soul cleansing! It feels like a magical get away. It is just minutes from canoe rental companies for floating the Buffalo River. Jasper is a quaint little town with great food, a nice city park, and the Little Buffalo runs right through. I highly recommend! "

"We really enjoyed the solitude and quietness of the cabin. It was clean, neat and just as described. The mornings and evenings were our favorites, sitting outside just relaxing. This is our second stay here and won’t be our last. "
