"The lords seat was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and clean. Great location with amazing views. Nice to have the extras like the dvds and games. The only disappointing thing was the water going off (ironic in the lake district) but obviously not your fault. The only thing that would have helped is instructions on a couple of things. "We had a wonderful stay in this cosy, quiet cottage with plenty of space and everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked but, you will need to bring any essentials salt and pepper, oil, etc. very nice pet welcome pack and packs of welcome with tea and cleaning items. There is a village shop nearby and several pub restaurants. There are a number of great walks on your doorstep from easy to more challenging without needing drive.. A beautiful area to explore so...

"We had a wonderful five-day stay at Tawny Cottage in Portinscale in mid-May. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very cosy, and it was such a lovely touch to find the heating already on when we arrived. "The cottage, its location and the superb views from it were perfect in every way. We also found the email communication and friendliness of Keswick Cottages shop staff to be exactly what one would hope from a holiday cottage letting company. We have been annual visitors to the Keswick area for over 25 years and we have now found our new "go to" cottage for our future visits. We have already rebooked for 2027!"

"Apartment in ideal location for everything Keswick has to offer. All within 6/minutes walk. Private car park so no problems there. The apartment itself is clean. Spacious. Modern with plenty of storage space for food etc.huge fridge freezer. Washer and dishwasher. Very comfortable bed. All in a private and quiet location with booths a stones throw away. All shielded by trees so very quiet. Nice view of river from sitting room window. The perfect spot for a stay in Keswick"

"This is a lovely cottage in the heart of the Braithwaite village, accessible for transport, walking, cycling etc. all amenities you would expect & comfortable beds. Parking & electric charging point were an added bonus ( once we worked it out!) Bathroom / hot shower great after a busy day. Decent sized smart TV & a porch for all the wet walking gear! Lovely garden but weather not too warm yet to enjoy to its full potential. Freezer a good plus for food delivery & washing/ drying facilities...

"The property had amazing views, and was only a short walk to a pub serving nice food. The garden was great for our 2 Springer Spaniels, plenty of room for sniffing around and seemed secure as they never escaped once! Inside was everything you needed. The main bedroom was huge and had the great views. We were only a 5 minute drive to Keswick and close to lots of great walks. Would definitely stay here again."

"I found the apartment to be clean, comfortable and well equipped, the allocated parking space is great to have as street parking can be challenging in Keswick. The location is perfect, quiet with only a short walk into town. I'd certainly book again unless I decided to take bikes as there didn't appear to be anywhere for storing them. The welcome tray of tea and coffee etc. was much appreciated after a long drive, thank you."
