Bring cleaning supplies and coffee.

Let me start by stating that I do not ask for much in a hotel. All I ask for are clean sheets and a generally clean room and a quiet place to sleep as I typically do not spend much time at the hotel beyond sleeping. So, I have had plenty of experience staying in hotels after reading review after review stating that the hotel is not fit for human occupancy only to stay myself and leave a review stating that previous reviewers either need to lower their standards or raise their price point. Sadly, that is not the case this time. I will detail some of the cons of my experience at The Pine Brook Knights Inn... Upon arrival, we immediately conducted a bed bug check. Sheets appeared to be clean; however, our teenage son decided to flap the duvet around, leaving a trail of crumbs, etc. on the sheets. Duvet had burn marks and was also generally dirty. Room smelled heavily of smoke. Noticed that the bathroom floor was filthy (I mean it, filthy) as though it hadn't been mopped in forever or swept as there was a collection of litter under and around the heater. Shower appeared semi-clean; but, I wasn't taking any chances and wore flip flops to shower. Initially thought other floors were cleaner than the bathroom anyway; but, our white socks turned black revealing otherwise. Towels were cleaner than the floor; but, I had to pick some hairs off before use. No coffee, I mean at all. None in the lobby in the morning and no coffee maker in the room.

Not worth it!

Room does not match photos. VERY dilapidated, not clean, cigarette burns and other stains on bedding, springs coming thru mattress, horrible smell, needs paint, bent electrical outlet cover plates. Massive amounts of bleach used right before our arrival. Evidence of mold mildew growth on many surfaces. VERY disappointing, I would have immediately demanded my money back and found a different place if our itinerary were not so tight that day.

Dirty room

Carpets were dirty. Tv screen full of fingerprints and walls were full of dust and some stains. Also toilet seat was flapping around almost completely unattached.

dirtiest most disgusting room i've ever stayed in. mold in the bathroom. floor hadn't been vacuumed in god knows how long. mattress was basically springs with a cover over it. non smoking room that wreaked of smoke.

Pésimo. Sin servicio de limpieza.

Pésimo servicio. No quisieron limpiar la habitación a pesar de solicitarlo. Solo nos quedamos 3ndias pero jamás volveré ni gratis.

short and to the point

Just their to get a few hours of sleep after a long day of work. Not a place to bring your wife or girlfriend if they mean something to you. not a 5 star place. it was clean. furniture dated. mattress was like sleeping on boxes filled with springs.

Get what you pay for

While not overtly nasty, the room was dusty, the walls & doors had obvious hand prints & old stains and the furniture was quite dusty... probably because from just the right angle, one could actually see daylight through the front door jamb, rather than from any particular failures on the part of the cleaning staff. The wi-fi was reasonably reliable/fast, but it is communal AND unsecured, so best bet is use a VPN or don't use it at all. 80% + of the TV channels don't work because they aren't paid for, and there really isn't any convenient place to eat: one could walk to the Wendy's 3 miles away, or dare 4 lanes of divided highway to get to the McDonald's across the street. You get what you pay for... in this case, barely, but still.

When I first saw the property I said " uh oh" but when I went to my room it was a welcoming surprise. VERY FEELING LIKE HOME. I would come here again when the need arrises. The owners spent their money wisely by spending it on the interior. Best wishes to them
