"This hotel locates in a very nice neighborhood, bus stop and supermarket just steps away. Walk to the ferry terminal enjoying fantastic views on the way. Staff are very friendly. Bars and restaurant on the ground floor. Only not very convenient is sharing bathroom. But we managed well with it."

"We stayed in a one bedroom suite for two nights for three people. The fold out bed is terrible with the mattress having springs / lumps everywhere. Very poor mattress for the money you pay. Room service food was the worst. I had a simple order of a ham and cheese toasted sandwich - it was burnt so I asked for a new unburnt one to be cooked. "Comfortable upstairs rooms rooms in a cosy local pub hotel reminiscent of accomodation of an English Country Pub atmostphere. A breakfast kitchen and lounge along with shared bathrooms make for rooms make for an interesting communal atmostphere with fellow travellers unlike large corporate hotels. Fantastically located opposite a lovely local park and nearby shopping strips and restaurants of North Sydney of Crows Nest just a medium stroll away."

"This hotel was warm and inviting. The room was large and comfortable. The only complaint I would have was the noise level. My room was the first on the 2nd floor landing and the restroom for the pub customers was on the landing below mine. The door going into the restroom needs oiling! It was squeaky and I could hear the hand dryer everytime someone used it. The noise from outside was bad as well and the street seemed to be a major drag strip. It is a lovely old hotel."
