  • Escape to Parksville for a relaxing winter getaway at Rathtrevor Cottage, a bright and welcoming retreat at Oceanside Village Resort.



    Designed for families, couples, or friends travelling together, the cottage comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. The main floor offers two bedrooms with queen beds and a full bathroom, while the semi-private loft features a king bed and its own ensuite. The cottage is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, making it easy to settle in whether you’re visiting for a weekend or a longer winter escape.



    After a crisp walk along Rathtrevor Beach or a day exploring Vancouver Island, come home to a warm and comfortable living space. Gather around the gas fireplace, enjoy a quiet evening with a movie or board game, or prepare dinner together in the fully equipped kitchen.



    One of the cottage’s best features is its location directly across the lane from the resort’s 23' x 50' heated indoor pool and hot tub, making it especially convenient during the cooler months.



    Rathtrevor Provincial Park and its beautiful beaches are also nearby, along with local restaurants, cafés, spas and other Parksville attractions.

Lovely convenient property to Parksville and beaches. Very thoughtful host. Access for check in and check out were seamless. Nice touch to have the guest binder for info and area recommendations/attractions.

Amazing stay, everything about it was great. Love that the pool and hot tub are just across the street. Judy communicated very quick. Dogs had a fantastic time as well. Would stay here again.

it was perfect for our multi generational family visit. Very clean and well equipped, everything in good order. Host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Had some unseasonably hot weather so appreciated the heat pump!!

Very satisfied

It was a wonderful place to stay with my granddaughter and daughters.. there was everything we needed… Judy was pleasant to deal with.. my granddaughter loved mini golf at rip tide and swimming in the pool..

Home Away From Home

Rathtrevor Cottage was such a wonderful place to stay! The house is lovely and clean and every basic thing you need for comfort is there. We would definitely stay there again and give it a huge A.

Judy is an outstanding host - the property was clean, well stocked and the directions were really easy to follow. We loved going for walks, eating at the Black Goose and the walk to the beach - highly recommend!

Cottage near the beach

Oceanside Resort is a short walk to stunning Rathtrevor Beach and is surrounded by forest. Our accomodation was excellent - clean, comfortable & very well-equipped.

Great Place to stay...

was perfect for a week or two... we actually were stuck with an extra occupant, and they made accommodations available and made it all work out. was fantastic... lots to do.

Rathtrevor Cottage

We stayed five nights at the cottage. It was very clean. Had everything you needed was an excellent location couldn’t ask for a better experience host was always available and if we needed anything, it was addressed right away.

Perfect get Away!

This Beautifully appointed cottage, is in a quiet location, with no traffic noise! Across the road, visit the Black Goose for a terrific meal, we actually went twice it was so good! Don’t hesitate about booking this cottage, you won’t be disappointed! We will definitely come again.

Such a Beautiful and Well-Appointed Cottage

We had a fabulous time at Rathtrevor Cottage! My Mom (who's in her 80's), my son who is a teenager and my husband and I felt like we could relax and enjoy a nice couple of days as soon as we entered the air conditioned cottage. It was clean, it had everything that we needed and the access to the beach, pool and amenities were perfect. Judy was easy to keep in touch with and followed-up regularly to make sure we were enjoying our stay, which we really appreciated. Thanks so much for a lovely time!

Relaxing Get Away!

We came up to this cabin for some much needed R&R. There was enough space for three adults, one child and a puppy to enjoy each other’s company while having adequate distance. The space was calming and the family dog made themselves home immediately! We will be coming again!

great cabin, great location

Clean open unit, close to great amenities. Sadly the pool was closed for most our stay and the kids were disappointed. But we filled our time there with other fun activities.
