"Wonderful setting for a family get together. Property manager is extremely responsive and the property is in a beautiful setting and the house hosts many families well. "

"The property was all that it promised. We enjoyed the all amenities especially the pool and hot tub despite the cooler weather. Sunsets and cotton clouds added to the atmosphere. Only thing was that the barbecue grill didn't get enough heat and flame didn't work well so we weren't able to use it. Would come back again to unplug and rejuvenate from the day to day grind. Thank you for the memories! "

"The Shandon House is incredible and a great place to stay. We truly enjoyed the home, pool, jacuzzi, and the kitchen is amazing! It is quiet and peaceful and all the bedrooms were great. The property manager was helpful upon arrival and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back!"

"All in all a nice place and welcoming owners. We kept pretty busy the entire weekend So we did not get to enjoy the pool. I would say it could’ve been a little cleaner around the pool area and spiderwebs around the deck. The kitchen linings were older and could be updated with new. In the house rules, it does say to load the dishwasher with dishes before you leave, but there was no dishwasher or at least that we could find. "

"This property is a cute Victorian house located close to Paso Robles and very easy to access. The property manager was very attentive and answered the phone/text immediately when contacted. We enjoy cooking when on vacation and we were happy with the kitchen. There was enough of a variety of pots and pans and supplies to cook with. The only issue would be the microwave door hinge needs to be fixed. The beds were comfortable, shower water pressure was good, water gets hot right away, and there...

"We can’t say enough about this property. Absolutely beautiful and the perfect place to celebrate my birthday! The back patio was our favorite place to enjoy coffee in the mornings and dinner and wine enjoyed around the massive fire ring. There were 4 couples and it was the perfect house to accommodate all of us. We enjoyed the barn owls sighting at night and the quail during the day!! Bob was a great host and messaged me back right away. Definitely would stay here again. "

"Perfect mix of rest and activity. Well appointed with quality furnishings. We cooked out. Hiked. Swam. Chatted at the firepit And of course took the Hearst Ranch winery tour ( thank you Scott and Christina) and drank some outstanding wine. Close to many wineries and breweries. We also shopped in SLO CAL which was very nice. Thanks for being a superb host. We hated to leave. "

"This property is great for those looking to get away from it all a a couple or in a group up to 6-8. The house is beautiful and has all you would need for a great trip. The outside spaces from the pool to the bocce, to the ping pong area to the huge open field at the front of the property are all fantastic and only add to the great experience. The hosts are super responsive and prior to and during the stay which only added to a great experience. Would highly recommend!"

The house was very clean and the kitchen was well organized. The setting is pleasant, with a view of vineyards and countryside, yet still only 15 minutes from the center of Paso Robles."
