Pros: The staff was very pleasant and let us check in early. The room was clean, fairly spacious and the beds were comfortable. We had an issue with the shower door and the staff fixed it immediately. They allowed us to store our bags for a few hours after checkout. The train station for the EuroStar was about two blocks from the hotel.
Cons: The room faced the street and was extremely loud. There were sirens constantly and car horns at the intersection all day and night. Although the bedroom and bathroom were clean, there was a large hole in the wall in the bathroom with exposed pipes. The television was very small and mounted too high to comfortably watch while sitting on the bed and there was about ten feet of extra cable hanging from it. The hallway when you got out of the very tiny elevator was completely dark and we had to use our phone flashlights to find the door lock. The neighborhood was not great. Most of the stores in the area sold wedding dresses and men's wedding tuxedos and suits, which was not ideal for tourists. There was a nice patisserie nearby, but otherwise the restaurants seemed like they were very average or they were fast food. Public transportation was necessary to visit any Paris landmarks.
