"This beautiful historic B&B was a joy to stay at. The breakfast was so delicious and had a great variety of items to choose from. I was especially impressed that with son with allergies to nuts, soy and dairy was able to eat the breakfast!"

"Our family was taking a cruise out of Galveston and this property is literally two blocks away from the cruise terminal so it was great to spend the previous night in old town Galveston very nice and then the next morning we just walked to our terminal for the cruise line, everyone was very helpful. Very nice. The rooms were great. The breakfast was incredible. Highly recommend recommended."

"This time we stayed in the Cottage. It was a separate unit behind the main house. Easy to enter using the code I was emailed. The cottage was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub and a wraparound shower curtain. The room A/C was excellent. It was very comfortable all day and night. The ceiling fan was whisper quiet. The cottage included a kitchen area with a half-size refrigerator/freezer, counter top, cabinets, tableware, microwave, and a table....

"Our room was clean but old. The baseboards were missing, wall paper was torn, curtains were wrinkled and the shower floor was corroded. We were woken up at 8:00 a.m. with loud banging on the roof continued for about 1 hour, no warning. Parking was overcrowded had to park on the curb."

"The breakfast staff was amazing and helpful! Other than that, we had a multitude of problems arise during our stay. Checking was a major problem and I booked through Expedia and the hotel did not recognize my booking and made me cancel my order and order through them at check in causing me to pass more. The A/C was out in the hallways along with the elevator not working properly during our stay and multiple times we had to take the stairs from the 5th floor! Last but not least the pool...

"The hotel is not.what it says. It did not give Hilton quality, the furniture is old and the kitchen was not kept the way it should have been. My room ceiling fan and light did not work at all 4 all 4 days i stayed and nobody offered a solution. It took me on the 3rd day to even get a luggage dolly for my suitcases. Mind you staff said they only have at the property. After prepaying for parking I was charged an additional $80.for parking. Worst stay ever, never again and corporate will hear...

"Looks nothing like the pictures. My room had patches of paint on the wall, broken bathroom door frame, the phone didn’t work, and just overall felt unclean. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone."

"Great view; friendly staff; very clean. Only complaint would be only 1 very slow elevator for the entire hotel. Also the one night we were tired and were going to eat in the restaurant at the hotel they closed early without notice leaving us to scramble outside the hotel for food with a very tired toddler. Overall we had a very fun vacation."
