"Clean room and bathroom. No chair or desk in room. Air conditioner was faulty and rattled all night long. Not enough pillows and the two we had were too thin. When checking out the front desk we couldn’t get a printed receipt because the printer had no paper. Breakfast was disappointing. No coffee or orange juice in carafe or in fridge container."

"The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!"

"Wonderful and welcoming "old school" motel on the Rockport/Rockland border. Beautiful trees and greenery insulate the property from the road noise of Route 1. Our room had a back porch looking out on trees and flowers. Friendly staff welcomed us, and greeted us again for our free and delicious breakfast on the breezy cool porch of the main house. My wife and I will stay here again on our next trip to Maine. Five Stars!"

"The common areas of the property were great - plenty of rocking chairs on the front porch and a couple of fire pits to sit by. Breakfast was good and the staff was super. We were close enough to downtown Camden that we could easily walk to shops, restaurants, the library and the beautiful harbor. Our room was a little smaller than I expected, but I’d definitely stay at the Whitehall again."

"Room was clean upon arrival. Bathroom had a urine smell that was unpleasant, although the motel was recently renovated. The room was loud due to traffic and the A/C unit was blasting when on. This was the most uncomfortable thing. I slept with headphones and my children used earbuds. Overall we had a ok stay."

The rooms are what we expected for this type of preserved property, not spacious but again, what we expected. Comfortable bed, quiet and walkable to everywhere downtown. I would highly recommend."

"Beautiful setting overlooking the water. Small historic inn with some upgraded amenities due to renovations. Very peaceful with lovely sun room for continental breakfasts and outdoor patio for watching sunsets and frolicking seals. Close to Camden and waterfront restaurants. I hope to return again."
