"We had a wonderful stay! The innkeepers were so friendly and helpful. It was fun to learn the history of the house, especially since the were so into the history. Donnie is an excellent chef and made a wonderful breakfast for us. We were only there for one night since we were visiting our son and he only had one day off. We would definitely recommend as a place to stay for one night, or much longer. Charles Town was a cool place to visit and there are several towns around with fun downtown...

"The rooms are just gorgeous. The beds are comfortable and the whole atmosphere is great there. We enjoyed the large hot tub several times throughout the day and night, while taking in the beautiful views and birdwatching. We really enjoyed the private, screened balcony as well. Every part of the property was enjoyable and the staff are top notch. The breakfast was phenomenal!! Tina is an awesome innkeeper! She made us feel so comfortable and right at home. This really has become our new favorite...

"Most importantly to me, the two beds were clean, but nothing else was. The floor was covered in dirt and looked like it hadn’t been swept in weeks, there were a few dead beetles on the ground, cobwebs in the corner of the room, and the tub had a dirt spot on it and the curtain looked grimy like it hadn’t been washed in a while either. The beds are held up by some pieces of wood shoved underneath each corner and the bed skirts were ripped. When I arrived, I got an automated text from Travelodge...
