Meadow Lane Cottage

Welcome to our guest house, located in the heart of Lancaster County and central to all the major attractions It has to offer!
Though we are located on a quiet country road we are only minutes from Route 30 and close to Sight and Sound Theatre, Strasburg Railroad, Dutch Wonderland, American Music Theatre, Rockvale and Tanger Outlets, The Village of Intercourse, Kitchen Kettle Village etc.
The space
Whether you are coming for a family vacation or a weekend getaway you’ll be sure to enjoy our cozy cottage with all the amenities to make your stay relaxing and comfortable! The kitchen is fully stocked where you can easily prepare your own meals! Dining room has table with bench and 4 chairs.
Washer and dryer are available to use.
Our spacious living room makes it easy to kick back and relax!! You’ll also have a dedicated work space if you’re working remotely.
Be sure to enjoy our cozy little sunroom surrounded with windows where it’s peaceful to just sit and enjoy the views!!
There is a half bath on the main floor as well.
On the second floor there is a full bath with a tub/ shower combination. This bathroom was remodeled winter of 2025..Master bedroom with king bed, closet and dresser for storage. Bedroom #2 with queen bed and closet. Bedroom #3 with queen bed, closet and dresser for storage.
Other things to note
This is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The house next door has a few dogs that occasionally bark when they see or hear you outside, but for the most part they are kept inside.

The house was very clean and well appointed. One recommendation I would make, as someone who used to inspect hotels and am now a person of a certain age, is to add a grab bar in the shower. The neighbor Steve and his dogs stepped out to give us a friendly greeting, making us feel very welcome.

Excellent location. The dogs next door a little intimidating at first. But they were fine. The house was perfect for what we were doing. The kitchen needs an exhaust fan if you cook it would sometimes set the smoke detector off.very clean and would definitely stay there again..

Meadow Lane Cottage is a beautiful rental with great amenities. The inside is very clean and beautifully decorated. The outside is well maintained. I had a question before we left and the host responded quickly with an answer.

Fabulous

I loved this place. It was clean, felt cozy, and has a great layout. The enclosed porch was a real treat for me in the morning. The beds were comfortable with nice sheets, too! The location was near a variety of activities. We especially enjoyed Dutch Wonderland. I would definitely choose to stay here again. Thank you for the opportunity!

Very nice home - clean and comfortable. Owner was very responsive to our questions and provided recommendations of local places to visit. The on-site information binder had clear communication that was useful. Would definitely stay again when in the area!

Perfect Lancaster Stay

Our visit to Lancaster was perfect from start to finish. We typically stay in a hotel, but opted for a rental this time to have more room. This house did not disappoint. It was so convenient that we returned during the day before going out again, and it was a great place to relax…very clean.. We loved the ease of parking, and communications with the host were quick and smooth. Even the neighbors were wonderful. We saw them outside enjoying some sun with their beautiful dogs, a few times, and had nice conversations.

More than we couldve imagined.

Absolutely beautiful house, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything from dish soap to sponges, laundry pods, kurig/coffee pot. Livingroom is very comfortable, plenty of room to move around. Reading on the porch was beautiful each morning. Neighbor was very nice, and even gave suggestions of other local places we can explore! 4 very happy women. This place is an absolute gem.

We traveled to PA for a basketball tournament. It was only a quick 2 night stay but this house had everything we needed. The host left great instructions and the check out process was a breeze! We will definitely be looking for this VRBO house again for next year’s tournament!

Great time in Paradise

Enjoyed our time at the house. It’s very convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. One block off the main road but also close to many farms. Just a wonderful place to go. Very clean and comfortable. There was even a Christmas tree already set up to enjoy.

Great Weekend Getaway with my family and toddler.

My husband and I, my parents, and my 3 year old stayed here for 2 nights. We would definitely stay again!! Location: This house was in a perfect location. The neighbors were quiet and friendly. Everything (Dutch Wonderland, coffee place, buffets, restaurants, Choo Choo Barn, Train Museums, Strasburg Railroad, Outlets, Mini Horse Farm) was within a 5-15 minute drive. The House: The big open yard and back pack were great. If it was warmer, we would have definitely spent time out there. The inside of the home was immaculate, beautifully decorated and cozy. The Bedrooms: The beds were cozy and warm. My husband and I like pitch black rooms, so I suggest bringing something to cover the windows if you prefer the same. The Bathrooms: They provided ample towels and wash cloths. The claw foot tub can be difficult to get in and out of, but we managed. The Host: We did have an issue of the house smelling like smoke, but we realized it was the fireplace. It had rained the day prior so I guess the dampness made the house smell of smoke. This would have bothered us, but the host called me right away and dropped off 2 air purifiers for the home. The smell cleared out right away. I WISH WE WERE STILL THERE! :)
