"We stayed here on two separate occasions on the same trip, lovely clean room a good size, we reported the curtains not opening and closing properly the reception when we left the on the 1st stay, we were given the same room the 2nd stay a week later and the curtains were still not working properly, but different make much of a difference to the overall stay. We would recommend this hotel."

"There was some confusion when I checked in about the breakfast I paid for through Expedia, but it was figured out. The staff was friendly. Breakfast choices were above average and not some make your own waffle experience. Everything was clean, although they forgot to empty out the fridge in my room, but that’s not a big issue. My biggest complaint is paid parking for a hotel in Bakersfield that isn’t even close to whatever “downtown” Bakersfield is. That is a $10 joke for a property like this....

"It’s a great hotel but at night there’s homeless people hanging around the lobby and in the morning they let him eat the breakfast for clients. What’s the point of having a secured, locked parking lot if they’re letting homeless people come in?"

"Hotel is definitely an older hotel but it was clean and the pick up and drop off service was excellent mostly because we had a late flight at midnight. They don’t offer no coffee in the morning and expect to pay 5.00 for a small cup."

"We had stayed here before and had a great experience which Is why we chose to stay there again. The Carpet was nasty, we asked to be moved to a different room but there wasn't much difference, the room was smaller so less spots in the carpet to be noticed. I requested 4 extra pillows due to a procedure I had. I had to request a third time and got them 3 hours after I first requested them. Handle on the shower doors falling apart. We had to hold the handle on the toilet down for a good 6-7...

Since we planned to go up highway 99 the location of the hotel is very close by and easy to access. The staff greeted us with smiles and a warm welcome. "Room was okay, A/C was a bit off due to extreme heat. The Bistro apparently only opened for breakfast but we tried to eat there Saturday and it was closed. The major downfall we were advised there were no rooms available on the first floor and there were no elevators. We were there for a 2 day event so we just stayed and checked out early on Sunday. Location wise: close to restaurants ."
