Construction Update – Long Beach Resort (As of April 2, 2026)
We are excited to share that construction at Long Beach Resort is winding down and the property is quickly returning to normal operations!
The lagoon pool is now open and available for guest enjoyment
The pool between Towers 1 & 2 is also open
Towers 1 and 2 are fully complete
Tower 3 is substantially complete
Tower 4 is in its final stages and wrapping up
While there may still be some minor work and loose ends being completed, the vast majority of the project is finished.

At this time, beach access is available through Towers 1 and 2 only, but additional access points are expected to reopen soon as work concludes.

We truly appreciate your patience throughout this improvement project. With construction nearing completion, Long Beach Resort is almost fully back to normal—and ready to provide the exceptional beach experience our guests know and love.

If you are looking for a cute unit in Long Beach Resort look no more. Our unit is in tower 2, the closest tower to the lagoon pool and the 'Hangout' bar and grill. This one bedroom / one bath 750 sq ft unit is perfect for 2-4. Enjoy sweeping views from your 30 ft. long private balcony!! Just imagine sitting back and relaxing on the large balcony that Long Beach is famous for. You are sure to soak up the sunsets in front of you while you watch the dolphins make their way down the coast.You and your family will have all of the comforts of home. Our living room is decorated with a modern beach feel, with a sleeper sofa plus super comfortable chair. The floor to ceiling windows brings the beach right into your unit.The kitchen has all the appliances and everything you need to fix a snack or a full course meal. The dining area seats four with additional seating at the counter.The master bedroom is decorated with a modern Caribbean vibe. You will have no choice but to relax on our king size bed with pillow top mattress. The sounds of the surf will rock you to sleep at night. The master bathroom has a large soaking tub, double vanities and large closet. Long Beach Resort features 1300 feet of sugar sand beaches running into the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. If you are more of a pool person then you will enjoy the 6800 square foot lagoon pool with waterfalls and palm tree islands, an expansive sundeck, two heated Polynesian pools, and three whirlpool spas. Grab a snack at 'The Hang Out' poolside bar and grill.Sitting in the heart of Panama City Beach, your vacation retreat is near family entertainment, local golf courses, restaurants, Pier Park, and more.

We enjoyed our stay here. We only had half a roll of toilet paper. The toilet paper is coming off of the wall. The condo could use a little tlc Overall we had a really nice and relaxing week.

Nice place, beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay. The view is beautiful and the sound of the waves so relaxing. The condo was stocked and clean. My only complaint is the bathtub. We are not young people. Stepping in and out of the tub was difficult/slick. The scented laundry detergent was a bit much for my allergies..

The view was absolutely gorgeous from the balcony. Condo was sitting feet from the beach and just a brief walk to local souvenir shops. The pool was great! Property was a little dated but extremely clean. I only recommend that the mattress on the fold out sofa be replaced. Overall great experience!

Good experience!

We enjoyed our stay! A little bit dated, but overall was nice. Location near Pineapple Willie's, and souvenir shops is great. Had one issue with the door lock resetting, and we couldn't get in the unit for about 20 minutes, but they were able to help via the phone. Overall good stay!

Great Location! Beautiful View!

Overall this condo is clean and roomy. The only thing I would say is annoying about this condo is the shower because you have to step high to get in. The pools and access to the beach are the best and they are private. The Long Beach Resort overall needs some updating such as the elevator but still a very nice place to stay. I would stay here again.

Spectacular View Older Property

Property is older and in need of a facelift. Views are spectacular. We have stayed at numerous properties in PCB. Long Beach is a good drive to Pier Park. Walmart is across the street. Except for the soap scum line in the shower and hair on the floor, it was pretty clean. We are not planning to stay at this resort again.

Love Long Beach

This is the 3rd condo in 2 years we have stayed at Long Beach. This one Needed some TLC. Paint needed badly as wall paint was chipped and scraped in several areas, clean dishes left in dishwasher, fridge moved every time you tried to open it, ice maker ice was overflowing in the freezer excessively, dirty stove and dirty pan left in oven, bath tub seemed dirty with dark marks, bedroom door was split and exterior front unit door looked so bad with scraps,dents and faded. First impressions was not good before we entered. Good things was the location, 13th floor, bed very comfortable, sheets and towels clean, adequate dishes, complementary soaps, clean floors and decor was nice. With some improvements, would be a great place to stay.

Family vacation!

We had a great experience for what we were looking for. Pricing was good, location was perfect, we were in walking distance of most stores, right on the beach with beautiful views! We saw dolphins every morning, caught crabs at night, and could walk to pineapple willys from our condo. We were really only in our condo at night to sleep because we were so busy doing things throughout the day so it was perfect for us!

Was dissatisfied with condo.

No extra sheets for pull out cough. Dust everywhere found 2 pills on floor that my 4yr grandson found.. The sink had a terrible smell when turned on dish washer it back up. Chips on floors someone’s sleeping mask behind couch. The dishwasher was not bolted almost fell out. I have stayed at Longbeach for the last 6yrs and have never been dissatisfied till now. Thanks.

Not clean

Won't rent this unit again. Possibly won't stay at long Beach again either which is disappointing since we've stayed here the last several years. Dirty linens were left on top of freshly made bed, bathtub had nasty ring around it, floors had not been mopped, 2 towels were on the dryer not folded and in the cabinet, we thought that's all we had until Wednesday when we found other towels and linens in the washer had to wash those again, several outlets had no covers, light bulb out over the sink in bathroom, bathroom rug looked like it hadn't ever been washed, outlet beside balcony in bedroom only 1 of the 2 plugs work, ceiling near doors to balcony in bedroom has water damage and is peeling off, headboard not attached to bed or wall it was just leaning against the wall. Ihave pictures if you want to see them. The only positives were the bed was very comfortable and we were on the 13th floor.

Cute & cozy but needs some updates

This condo was perfectly sized for my husband, myself and our 2 lil girls. We loved the amazing views we had from from the 13th floor -the ocean to the night sky. Everything you could want or need is conveniently close, including Walmart 😉 Only a couple hiccups - the garbage disposal thing in the kitchen sink didn't work, after further discovery, we found a small garbage can under the sink, looked like it was collecting leaking water. And bc of the garbage disposal thing being broke, it did cause a bit of an odor to come up thru the sink. I'd like to think they'll get that fixed soon though, for other future visits. Another issue we saw, was the dishwasher not being properly mounted to the counter - as putting dishes in or out, you couldn't pull the racks of dishes all the way out without the dishwasher tipping forward. It does need to be said though, that after the week came to a close and talking to others about what their condo looked like - our 2 issues are SUPER minor. Other than those two issues, it truly was an amazing stay. The bed was super soft and comfy - slept so good in that bed. The sleeper sofa was comfy for my girls. No complaints from them. The washer and dryer were amazing and looked pretty new. Including the refrigerator and the stove was in great shape - everything worked great with it and the microwave. The AC worked really great as well. Kept us very cool at night and during the day. The bathroom needs to be highlighted as well, as the tub is huge and the water pressure was great. With plenty of super hot water. We would definitely highly recommend staying in this condo - from 2 people to a small family. Thank you for having us - we hope to be back soon!!

Vacation Stay

Location of condo is great. Close to many stores and restaurants. Pool with the hangout grill is always nice to have access to. The room itself felt a little outdated and could use some updating. Sheets were stained but clean. Wash rags were pretty rough. Dryer left black Marks on our clothes that were pretty obvious which is a shame since some of the clothes were newer. For the amount it costs to stay there we were expecting a little more updates. Biggest complaint is all the chores they have you do before you leave. Starting laundry, the dishwasher, and taking out trash. We pay a cleaning fee. That should all be included. Not a fun task to do at 5 am before you have to leave for the airport . Overall room met our needs and gave us what we needed along with beautiful views. Definitely a great location!

Was not worth the money I paid.

It was in terrible shape. 1st day took shower in cold water. Ice maker would not work. Dishwasher was not connected to cabinet. Shower doors would come off track when we used them. Furniture was nasty and chair was about to come apart. I have never stayed in such a place. Will not again.

Perfect little respite

A solid little condo, conveniently located and what a view!! A perfect spot for either a quiet day, a short walk to shopping or restaurants or time on the beach!
