We were told our unit would be ready anytime on the day of check-in since there wasn't a guest before us, but the cleaning person was still there when we arrived. It wasn't terrible, but it would have been better if it was as the owner said it would be. The check in process with security was quick and easy.The parking ramp is small and the parking spots even worse. We were glad we brought our car and not our truck. The reserved spot for this unit is next to a concrete pillar to the passenger side. Whomever was sitting in the back seat on the passenger side had to wait to get in and out of the car once it was backed out of the spot. It's also very narrow (as with all the spots in the garage).Although you can see the beach, it's not a direct ocean view. The views out the "master bedrooms" actually looked over the walkway to the units. The views out the living room looked over the pool and what I would call a courtyard view. Looking to the right you can see the beach.The "master bedrooms" seemed small to be considered masters. Although it was nice that all 3 bedrooms had on suite bathrooms. The bunkroom is small with a curtain for a door. It worked for us, but might not be ideal in all situations.Part of our stay was during fall break, so it was very busy. One of the elevators stopped working temporarily which was quite inconvenient as this unit is on the top floor.Overall the unit was nice & we enjoyed our stay, however we will not choose The Shores of Panama resort again.
