Fleming House is a fabulous Palm Springs vacation home rental with clean lines, an open concept floor plan, a hip mid-century fireplace, and spectacular french doors that blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living. It's modern, clean, and comfortably sleeps 6.
As part of a remodel, the owners preserved the swank and sophisticated vibe of yesteryear while adding modern conveniences like high-speed Internet Wi-Fi service and four flat-screen TV's. The kitchen and bath have an updated style that complements the home's iconic architectural lines. A true appreciation of all things mid-century come together to create this wonderful desert escape. While you're here you'll be soaking in our large heated saltwater pool and 8 person spa while enjoying the stunning mountain views. Also for your enjoyment, a large fire pit for stargazing, and a fire table with two lounge couches for those intimate nights.

THE OUTDOOR SPACES

This Mid-century pool home is located on a quiet residential street in Movie Colony East, a walking neighborhood of historic homes built in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The back yard is a private fenced 5,000 SF retreat with mature landscaping, fabulous inground saltwater pool and covered dining pavilion with gas barbecue. Spend a leisurely afternoon and evening having cocktails around the large fire pit. After the sun goes down, relax and unwind around the fire table for those cozy nights. But the true magic of this property is the spectacular views of the San Jacinto mountains that can be seen 24/7 .

Inside you'll find clean and polished concrete floors and a kitchen that is fully updated with an open floor plan, new fixtures, subway tile, and the latest appliances. Dishware, cocktail makers, and a kitchen with all the cookware and appliances you need to cook your heart away. Adjoining the kitchen is the open concept living room with a 55inch smart TV, and one step down is another sitting enclave overlooking the saltwater pool spa and fire pit in front of a stellar mountain views as your backdrop.

SLEEPING QUARTERS

The bedrooms are off on their own in separate wings from the living areas great for groups with both early risers and those who want to sleep in. All the sleeping quarters have comfortable hospitality quality mattresses with high thread count sheets and pillows. The primary bedroom offers a queen-size bed with an ensuite bathroom with shower. On the other side of the house are two bedrooms, one with a king bed the other has a queen bed. Both have flat-screen TVs. Between the bedrooms is a large bathroom with double sinks and a tub with glass surround.

Perfect for the weekend getaway, or stay longer to enjoy one of the many Palm Spring's events like modernism week, tennis, golf, hiking, Coachella, and Stagecoach. Whether a group of people or with a friend, Fleming house is a great place to enjoy Palm Spring's many activities, live the experience, and get your martini on, shaken or stirred!

Other things to note

Please see house rules for more amenities and expense details, but here are some important reminders.
+All TV's in the house are Wi-Fi connected with Roku boxes. Spectrum cable TV is available on all TV's via an app thru the Roku box. Roku has apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney +, Apple TV, and many more.
+The Fleming property is occasionally updated or renovated with newer items from time to time, so some photos may not reflect the most recent changes.
+Palm Springs City has a city tax for all home rentals and travelers of 12.5% which is INCLUDED in the rental rate.
+Pool heat during winter season October 1st through May 1st $75/daily. Billed ‘separately’ and is optional. Most guests opt-in for this as it gets chilly at night and all rental properties charge for this as it is a big pool.
+Spa heat is included in your stay and there is no extra fee for heating/operating the spa.
+Sonos is controlled through the free SONOS app. Just download the app and enjoy!
+Be aware of the small step down to the 2nd living room and dining area. There are gold stickers and LED light to differentiate the upper and lower areas. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE STEP, STEP AT YOUR OWN RISK.
+LONG TERM STAYS Do not include utilities, which are billed separately and taken as a deposit upfront of $500 for the month.
+Pool heating is billed separately at $900 for the month.
+The City of Palm Springs has a strict noise ordinance, where no amplified music may be heard at the property lines. All Vacation Homes in Palm Springs must follow this ordinance. During checkin, Steve our manager, will go over the noise and house rules, with more detail.
